i got placed in tcs. how can i improve myself before the training and how the training will be? they mentioned I.S in my interview process after the first round. what it mean?

just we must thorough in c,c++,java.Mainly we do projects in java ,if u were not perfect in java,learn after your course is completed as there was a time .Coming to other skills,we also must be thorough in your comminucation skills.

generally the call letter will come by the end of September or October so you have lots of time to improve,
as TCS is an software skill you have to improve your programming knowledge by learning courses like JAVA,C++,ORACLE
you can do that bu joining institute like NIIT,were they teach these subjects really well and the value for their certificate is really good,
in fact you can get software job only on the basis of there certificate ,

Skills can be increased only and only through hardwork that is to have a perfect knowledge of firstly the basics then going out and applying for TCS.
If your skills are good enough to impress the recruiters as well as the training executive,you will be at greater heights.I think the communication skill can be more increased by talking to your friends in English can make the difference that with a person having a better knowledge of English well versed than you,as he will correct you whenever you are wrong,and this will help you to learn new and to speak perfectly

Hi, i ve got splaced in TCS, as "graduate trainee", im a bca graduate though.. can any1 explain me wat does "graduate trainee" means?? wat all will be taught during training? n abt the salary structure?... and is it possible to continue my higher studies while working in TCS?

Hi friend, The skills to improve is perfect communication skills. More creative to impress others. English knowledge is must. About computer languages ,C,C++, Java etc.,

TCS is an software company.

Skill which i think you should improve before joining TCS are

- improve your programming knowledge by learning courses like JAVA, C++,ORACLE

- for that you have to revise your own subjects in engineering if you are a IT engineer. Other than this you can join NIITs or HCL CDC.

It necessary to revise and improve your skill because at the time of trainig if you don't score good marks in their written test then they will eliminate you from training.

So, go for it.

i attnd arnd march n got the offer letter on 25th march, still waiting for the call...

dont worry about it.the call will be come on september-october.so there is a lots of time to do.u should learn about languages such as java,.net.and clear your basics concepts.u should also have communication skills for the interview.learn about language from a good institute like niit.its give you confidence.

congrats on getting job. if you want to improve your skills then you should read all the concept of the programming languages.

In the interview there are asked question from c basic, java, and form the LINUX. You will be asked question from the networking. you can also read it and clear it.

Candidate must be a B.tech pass candidate
B.tech Must be done from a recognized University
You Must not have Backlogs Pending
You must not have Backs more then 2
You It skills and Communication skills should be at par

How to improve the skills :-

See if you skills are not that good then its better to start from the Basic and once you clear your Basic doubts then onwards move to the High level Language diploma course. If you clear your Doubt in the Basic learning then it will be easy for you to clear your exam as well as Doubts and you will be able to learn the advanced level well.

You can even solve mock papers and Get some SAP course done so that you improve your chances of getting selected for the course
