There is a separate entrance examination conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research for the bachelor's degree in agriculture called ICAR AIEEA UG exam. AIEEA stands for the All India Engineering Entrance exam for undergraduate admissions.
Eligibility criteria: >>You must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with any of the subjects like biology or mathematics or agriculture or homescience. >>For general category candidates the percentage of marks required in 10+2 to apply for the exam is 50%. For reserved category, candidates get 5% relaxation in marks. >>Candidate with compartment or supplementary in any of the subject will not be eligible for the exam. The minimum age limit is 17 years and upper age limit is 23 years. No upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of any category. For any more details about this entrance exam, you can visit www.icar.org.in. |
