Yes, you are eligible to apply for NDA Examination to Join Indian Air force just after completing your Intermediate examination. If you have completed your Intermediate examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects then you are eligible for NDA Examination.

This examination is conducted by UPSC, twice in a year and eligible candidates may fill the application form online soon after publishing the notification.

You should better apply for the NDA exam that is conducted twice in a year. You can also apply for the air force form by another method after passing class 12th. For this tests your age must b between 16.5 years to 19 years and you must be a citizen of India or Nepal or Bhutan. Best of luck.

You can join Indian Air Force through NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam after 12th conducted by UPSC twice every year.

Eligibility to join Indian Air Force through NDA:-

-The candidate must be an Unmarried Indian Male candidate.
-Should have either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject of studies from a recognised Board.
-Should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years.
-Should have possessed good Physical and Mental Fitness.

The NDA can be applied through on line by paying requisite fees for the exam.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

Dear, Air Force as eligibility criteria requires 12th for Officer and 10th for Airman. As Officer Cadre applicant can apply for Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Branch. Since you have done 12th you can apply for Flying Branch and Airman as well.

You can appear in National Defence Academy entrance exam after 12th conducted by UPSC which require following eligibility criteria-

>Must be a citizen of India
>pursuing 12th or passed
>17-19 years of age
>Unmarried
>Have good mental and physical fitness.

The following are the three modes of entry for engineers to join the Flying branch of
Air Force Academy
Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE)
You can take the Combined Defence Services Examination (written test conducted by UPSC) to join the Flying branch of the Indian Air Force. Men can join the Air Force through this mode of entry and will be given a Permanent Commission.
For applying through any of the entry points mentioned above, you must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualifications

you can join indian air force by giving the NDA exam. A student who have passed 12th class from a recognized board is eligible for giving the NDA exam.
only unmarried boys are eligible for giving the exam.
the age limit for the exam is 16.5 to 19 years.
students who are appearing in 12th class are also eligible for the exam.
after clearing the exam, you will have to give various physical tests. this test session is normally of seven days.
after passing that exam also, you will get admission in indian air force and your studies for that will start.

National Defence Academy has three wings,they are :-
Indian Army
Indian Navy
Indian Air Force
As said above that you are interested in Indian Air Force, then for your information,there are two type os posts available in Indian Air Force, they are :-
Group X - Technical posts
Group Y - Non Technical posts
The following are the posts comes under Group X :-
Electronics Fitter.
Electrical Fitter.
Mechanical System Fitter.
Structures Fitter.
Workshop Fitter (Mechanical).
Propulsion Fitter.
Workshop Fitter (Smith).
Weapon Fitter.
The minimum educational qualification requires for applying to the Group X Technical posts is just passed Intermediateor 10 2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English / Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
The following are the posts that comes under Group Y :-
Automobile Technician
Indian Air Force (Police)
The minimum educational qualification requires for applying ot the Group Y Non-Technical posts is just passed out Intermediate / 10 2 or equivalent examination with Science, Arts and Commerce / Three year diploma in any stream
For applying to the above said posts a candidate has to passed out Graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
The following is the Physical fitness requires for applying to the above said Group X / Y posts :-
Chest : Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
Weight : Proportionate to height and age.
Hearing : Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
Dental : Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
Health : Candidate should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments. Candidate must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain

If you are not able to Join Indian airforce through NDA, than you can apply to Indian Airforce through:
CDS Exams

For Indian Airforce in the CDS exams minimum educational qualifications required is Indian Airforce- Graduation Pass with Physics and Mathematics as subjects in class 12th or BE/BTECH

Age should be between 19 to 23 years

CDS exams are held two times in a year by UPSC

Indian Air Force can be joined by qualifying NDA exam.

After passing class 12th you can apply for NDA exam.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC.

But before you apply for NDA , make sure you fulfill the following eligibility criteria -

You should be 12th pass with Physics and Maths as main subjects, from a recognised board.

Your age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

You should be an unmarried male candidate.

So, if you fulfill these criteria , you ca definitely apply for NDA exam .

After 10+2 you can join Indian Air Force as officer through NDA Examination.

You must have studied 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics from a recognised Board of Education if you want to join Indian Air Force.

Age limit for NDA Examination is 16.5 to 19 years and only unmarried male of India are eligible to apply for it.

Selection Procedure:

You have to apply for NDA Examination after the notifications are released by visiting UPSC website http://www.upsc.gov.in

The you have to undergo examination which will decide the merit for the NDA selection.

First stage will be an Objective Type Paper which you have to clear with good marks in order to get selected for next stage that is SSB.

The marks in paper and SSB will decide the merit . Those who are in merit and pass the medical Examination will be selected for NDA.

You can also apply for non officers post in Air Force if you wish to join. There is Group Y trade post in Air Force for which you can apply .
