i am student of BDS final year and want to know how to join armed forces after doing bds and wat is the eligibility criteria for joining armed forces after bds

To join The Armed Force, you may write UPSC examination to get into Army dental corp which also includes Indian Navy through short service commission.

The minimum requirement for the same are as follows

You should have scored a minimum of 60% in your final BDS exam.
You must possess 1 year rotary internship recognized by DCI.
You should also possess a permanent dental registration certificate.

Career in defence for mechanical engineering students?
As you have completed the BDS so you are graduate by qualification.
As you have asked for the carrer option for the mechanical engineering so let me tell you there is huge carrer for the mechanical engineering graduates.
According to the qualification you need to apply for the CDS examination because this is the examination which is conducted two time in a year to recruit the contestants in any three wings.
If you like to apply for the same then you need to see the eligibility criteria for the same.
First of all you need to be a graduate in any discipline to apply for the cds examination for the armed force.
If you like to join the air force or navy then you need to have the graduation in physics and maths to clear the exam.
If you like to join indian army then your age needs to be 19 to 24 years for the indian millitary academy.
If you apply for the OTA then your age needs to be 19 to 25 years.
There is no age relaxation in any of the examination of the defence services.
You need to be indian by nationality.
You should not have any criminal records.
If you like to join air force or navy then age needs to be 19 to 22 years for navy and 19 to 23 years for the airforce.
