Dear friend,

You can join CBI through giving the SSC(Staff Selection Committee) exam in various posts like: Sub-Inspector, Assistant Public Prosecutor and Senior Public Prosecutor (SPP).

The eligibility to apply for the posts of assistant PP and Senior PP is that the candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in LLB(Law) and 10 years of experience in LLB respectively.

The general educational qualification for Sub-inspector post is graduation degree from a recognized university.

So if you have completed graduation you can appear in the SSC exam.

No you are not eligible for joining the CBI.
CA is no graduate course, and so you do not fulfill
the minimum requirement to join the CBI.

For the CBI, you need to appear for the SSC
Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam, held by the SSC
every year.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

Candidate must be a graduate in any field from a
recognized university.

So as you are not a graduate, so you are not eligible.

CA is not considered as a graduate course.

So you cannot apply for CBI.

what is the requirement needed to clear medical stage.thtere must be a medical stage?

To become a CBI officer you have to appear in the SSC conducted Combined Graduate Level exams

This Exam is conducted by SSC each year.

Educational qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Pass in any stream
No Minimum Percentage is required in Graduation

AGE-
Minimum 18 years
Maximum 27 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

Next Tier 1 Exam of the SSC Combined Graduate level will be held in May 2014 Notification and advertisement will come out in Jan 2014

Questions will be asked from the Below Sections in this Exams:
>> English Comprehension
>> General Awareness
>> Quantitative Aptitude
>> General Intelligence and Reasoning

Minimum height required for CBI post:
Male -165 cms
Female -150 cms
