My name is prashu chaudhary i am doing bsc. part 1 .i want to join cds.
what is the syllabus of cds exame.

You can join CDS after completing degree. It is possible for you to attend the test during final year also. General knowledge, English and Elementary mathematics will be asked for the test. Algebra, arithmetic, geometry, trigonometry and statistics will be asked for mathematics. Detailed exam syllabus can be collected from UPSC portal.

Sir I am brijesh kumar my ejection is BSC pass and my aim is cds join place give me full information I am waiting

CDS Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

Educational Qualification:-

• Indian Military Academy: You need a degree from a recognized university.
• Indian Naval Academy: You need to have a bachelor's degree in science with Physics and Mathematics or a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Air Force Academy: You need to have a B.Sc degree with Physics and Mathematics or B.Tech degree of four years' duration.
• Officer's Training Academy: You need to possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Age Criteria:-

• Indian Military Academy: 19-24 years
• Naval Academy: 19-22 years
• Air Force Academy: 19-23 years
• Officer's Training Academy: 19-25 years

Selection Procedure:-

• Written Exam
• Interview/ Intelligence Test/ Personality Test
• Medical Examination

CDS stands for Combined Defense Services.

UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducts CDS(Combined Defense Services) examination twice every year in the month of February and November respectively for these following wings:-

* Indian Military Academy(IMA).

* Officers Training Academy(OTA).

* Indian Naval Academy(INA).

* Indian Air Force Academy(IAA).

Eligibility criteria required for CDS examination:-

* Completion of graduation in any stream from any recognised university for IMA and OTA.

* Completion of graduation with Science stream from any recognised university for INA and IAA.

* Age limit:- 19-22 years(INA).
19-23 years(IAA).
19-24 years(IMA).
19-25 years(OTA).

* Nationality:- Indian.

* Marital status:- Single.
