to get into the indian military you have to complete your graduation first and then you can apply by clearing the entrance exam of ues or cds which conducted by the upsc

you can't join in Indian Military Academy after 12th commerce.

If you are science background and your age 16.5 -19. then you can appear in NDA exam. through which you can join after 12th.

but as you are commerce background candidate so you can join after gradation.

through UPSC exam you can join.

age limit 21-28.

der is no choice of joining IMA after 12th commerce...now u shud do graduation and den after completing it ,give d exam for CDS and den u r eligible for IMA...dnt loose hope,just work hard

If you are interested in Indian Military after 12th standard,then you will have to sit for Combined Defense Examination conducted by UPSC twice in every year.

Criteria :

Academic qualification :10+2 pass candidate can apply for this.

Age limitation :19 to 23 years.

So,
I think you have these criteria and hopefully you can appear for CDE.

If you are interested to join military academy then you will have to sit for CDS examination.

And for CDS examination you must have these folloeing criteria:

Educational criteria:
You must pass your 10+2 examination.

Age :
You should have 18 to 28 years of age.

Nationality:
You must be an Indian.

If you have all these criteria then you can go for CDS examination.

what is the physical requirment for militry,navy?

10+2 pass outs or appearing students are eligible to join Indian Defence Forces right after 10+2 by appearing in NDA examination which is the only best earliest entry mode availbale for students.

National Defence Academy (NDA) examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. To be eligible for NDA, the candidate must be a male Indian candidate within the age limit of 16 1/2 to 19 years on the date of commencement of training/joining. The candidate must have passed 10+2 or appearing students may also apply provisionally.
Candidate must have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and must have passed individual in each subject.

Written exam would be conducted along with SSB interview for which only selected candidates would be qualified. After sucessfuly qualifying SSB interview, candidate will be undergo 3 years IMA training. Please note that no one can directly join IMA

1. Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried male candidates ( fulfilling the conditions of nationality as laid down by the Govt of India ) to join the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala under 10+2 Cadet ( B.Tech ) Entry Scheme.

Eligibility Conditions for Indian Navy

2. Age : 17 to 19½ years ( i.e. born between 02 Jan 1993 & 01 Jul 1995. ( both dates inclusive ).

3. Indian Navy Educational Qualification :

Senior Secondary Examination ( 10+2 Pattern ) or its equivalent from University / Board with at least 70 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics ( PCM ) and at least 50% marks in English ( either in Class X or Class XII ).

4. Physical Standards for Indian Navy Recruitments

(a) Height and Weight : Minimum height – 157 cms with correlated weight as per age.
(b) Eye Sight : The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour / night blind.
Note : There will be no relaxation in physical standards.

For joining in IMA(Indian Military Academy) you have to appear in a exam conducted by Combined Defense Service .
For appearing in that exam you must be a unmarried male candidate born not earlier than 2nd January, 1988 and not later than 1st January, 1994 only are eligible. And your educational qualification must be a fully cleared graduation in any discipline.

Another exam available for joining in Indian Military Academy is NDA exam conducted by National Defense Academy.
The eligibility criteria for appearing in this exam says that your age must be between 16½ to 19 years and you must be a unmarried male candidate. Your educational Qualification for joining in army wing of National Defence Academy is a 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Thus you are eligible to join in IMA through NDA.

You can join Indian Army after 12th class by appear for NDA exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC every year twice,to take qualified students into different defense service like Indian Air Force Academy,Indian Army Academy and Indian Navy Academy.

Eligibility criteria for NDA(Indian Army Academy) exam:
You should have complete 12th class with any stream from a recognized university.
And your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

If you fulfill with this criteria,then you can appear for this year NDA exam.

NDA-I exam application form issues from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.And exam will held on 15th April 2012.

How To Join Indian Military Academy After 12th

After 12th a candidate can join the Indian Army by appearing in the NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam which is held every year for admissions to the Indian Armed Forces by the UPSC in the months of April and August..

A candidate must fulfill the following norms in order to appear for the NDA Exam :-

1) The candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

2) The candidate must be a 12th pass out from a recognized board..

The candidates must have good physical health and should have perfect eye sight..

You need to first clear the written exam which will test you on
General Ability : General Knowledge and Current Affairs
Test for your basic knowledge of English,Maths and Science

After you clear the written exam,you need to clear the medical exam and then the interview..

The next NDA exams are going to be conducted on 15th April,2012 for which the notifications will be released on 31st December,2011 and the last date for form submission is 30th January,2012

NO, you can not directly join Indian Military Academy(I.M.A) after passing 12th.

For this you have to qualify the Nation Defence Academy(N.D.A).
N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A:-
> Pass 12th with any subject from recognized university or board.
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year
> Medically fit

If you want to become a army officer then you can apply for NDA exam after 12th.

Eligibility for NDA exam is follows:
1.You must be a citizen of India.
2.Candidate's age must be between 16-1/2 to 19 yrs.

As you have done your 12th with commerce then you can only apply for army.

For I.M.A academy:-

1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade from a recognized university.

3.Candidate must be a citizen of India.

4.Candidate must be physically fit.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
