ISRO Stands for Indian Space Research Organization

Indian Space Research Organisation [ISRO] is engaged in application of Space Science and Space Technology for the development of society at large and for serving the nation by achieving self-reliance by indigenously developing capability to design and develop Space Transportation Systems and Satellites.

A candidate who is Aspiring to join ISRO will have to full fill the following Criteria.


A candidate must have completed their B.E/B.Tech with at least 65% (Average of All Semester) from recognized Universities.

Age should be between 21-35 years for General category. There is a Relaxation is available for OBC +3 years and for SC/ST +5 years on Upper age.

A candidate have Nationality of India.

can i join the ISRO after complition of M.Sc chemistry(industrial).

ISRO is Indian Space Research Organisation which is responsible for every space project of India.

To get into ISRO as scientist you must have following qualifications:

-B.E/ B.Tech. with 65 % marks in aggregate from a recognised university. Those who are in final year of Graduation and are expecting their result in time are also eligible to apply .

-Age must not be above 35 years if you want to apply for Scientist post.

The selection is based on following pattern:

-Written Examination

-Personal Interview

Hence you must have very good knowledge of your subjects if you want to join ISRO as scientist.

The aggregate in the academics should be above 70%.

The candidate must me an Indian

The age limit for the posts is 21 years to 30 years

ISRO(Indian Space Research Organisation):

Space Activities in our country had been started in the year 1960's with the scientific investigation.The Indian Space Research Had been formed over Thumba near thiruvanthapuram.The main aim of the Indian Space Research Organisation is to space Activities in the country,concentrated in achieving the self reliance ,develop the communication satellites,tele communications,television Broad cast,remote sensing satellites,meterological applications,etc.....

*Age Limit:

*The exam is generally in the month of April Every year.

You can apply for Junior Fellowship Programme in ISRO, after passing this exam.
