Its depend upon particular and no have exact data because they have changes their seats. Many government colleges are increasing their seats.
You can check seats from official site of particular colleges and I give you top 20 colleges list.

At present, only 150 seats are there in government medical colleges for MBBS.

But from next year, the seats will incresed upto 250. So, from the next academic session there are 250 seats availaible in government medical colleges for MBBS.

Thaere are 37 govt colleges, in which there is a news that govt is going to increase mbbs seats from 150 to 250 that means seats are going to be increased in all till 3700 seats.

hello friend , i will like to tell you that there are overall 37 government medical colleges in india and these 37 colleges possess 3700 seats for MBBS programs ...

To overcome the shortage of qualified doctors , the central government has decided to increase the ceiling on MBBS seats in a government medical college from 150 to 250 from the next year academic program i.e. 2011 - 2012 , provided the hospital has a bed capacity of 1000 or more ...

The private sector colleges expected to increase the intake in the next academic session.

you need to have following exam first
1.AIPMT
2.VARIOUS STATE MEDICAL EXAMS
3.AIIMS
4.JIPMER

The number of allotments was not uniformly the same for all courses. While MBBS in Government Medical Colleges continued till the penultimate round, allotments for MBBS to the Government seats in Private Self financing Medical ... and Government Controlled Engineering Colleges, there were just 4 ...
