how many job vacancies in ips exam? Could u please send me the dtails about the vacancies

One of my friend apply for IPS exam and he told me that their are around 800 to 900 seats are available for IPS exam.

IPS stands for the Indian Police Service and it is conducted by the UPSC to recruit higher post Police Officials.

Now the vacancies of IPS vary every year, but usually they range from 300 - 800 posts.

So it depends on the no. of vacancies created and the merit list is generated keeping that in mind.
