How much percent is required in 10th standard to become a Sub Inspector of Police?
How much percent required in 10th standard to become a sub inspector of police? Can you please give me the details on the minimum criteria which is followed to apply for the job and get it? Hope that I will get the answer soon. Thanks!

The minimum educational qualification is required to become an SI is Bachelor degree in Arts, Science or Commerce with 50% marks from a recognized university / Institute.
Age limitation Age of the appliers must be resided in between the range of 20 to 25 years as on last date of official notification. The upper age limit as prescribed above will be relaxable only in the following cases:- Upto a maximum of 05 years, for ST Upto a maximum of 3 years, for OBC Relaxation in the upper age limit is admissible upto 40 years (43 years for OBC, 45 years for SCs/STs) for departmental candidates of Police. Marks in class 10th are not taken into consideration |

The general eligibility criteria for Sub Inspector entrance exam is:
>>Candidate must be graduate. Those who are studying in final year of bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply for the examination. Even if you have passing percentage of marks in 10th then also, you can apply for examination of Sub Inspector. Marks of 10th board does not matter for this exam. >>The age criteria is 20-30 years. Upper age relaxation application to candidates of reserved category. If you meet both criteria then you can apply for exam. For any more details, you can visit official website of examination conducting authority of your state. |

No specific percentage criteria in 10th standard is required to become a Sub-Inspector of police. To be eligible to become Sub-Inspector of police, you should have passed Bachelor's degree course from a Government recognised university and you should have to appear in SI examination which is conducted by your respective state public service commission. You should be within 21-32 years of age. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

No, you are not eligible to appear in Sub-Inspector examination after 10th. For recruitment in examination candidates have to appear and qualify in SSC examination conducted by state.
The minimum eligibility to appear in examination is candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit varies with examination. For detail information about examination visit at www.ssc.nic.in. Candidates after qualifying in examination will be eligible for recruitment in Delhi Police, CAPFs etc. |

#The minimum educational qualification required to apply for Sub Inspector of police post is Graduation in any discipline from recognised institution/university.
#So,first you have to complete your graduation to apply for SI job. #Recruitment for SI posts is conducted by SSC,UPSC and respective state governments. #Age limit to apply for SI POST is 21-27 years and the age relaxations are 3 years for OBC candidates,5 years for SC/ST candidates. #The selection process of SI of police post is written test,personal interview and physical proficiency test. |
