which stream should i take to do software engineering,how much percentage required to do it and in which college i should take addmission after 12th?

If you want to go in software engineering than you should go for IT or CS engineering from a reputed college(which you can see top 100 college).
but after completing engineering from these colleges if you only want to make career in software engineering than you should opt for pg course in software engineering.

there are various colleges in india you may join those colleges for software engineering but dear you must have math in ur 10+2 otherwise you will be unable to join any college.
you should go for bca after your 10+2
but you must have math as one subject in ur 10+2

For admission you need 50% for wbjee. 60% for iit/aieee...
But to make it in indutrial world you need a minimun of 60% in all exams of your ecademic career.
The maximam number of colleges offers the course. Just check that if it is approved by AICTE or not.

hi anil ....... u r interested in doing software enginering..then marks is not a big criteria ... if u r from andhra pradesh then for joining in engg college u need a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the intermediate as well as a good rank in the respective competetive entrance exam like eamcet etc.,and there are many good colleges for doinf software engg like
mjcet(muffakham jah college of engg and tech),cbit,mvsr,srinidhi etc ..............so all he best

for good colleges,the criteria is atleast 60% marks,but for some colleges like BITS, the percentage is 80% in pcm....go for any core branch you are interested in..check out the top colleges and try for them..

To make a career in software engineering you must choose an

engineering course named IT or CSE in any reputed college so that you can

get a placement in campus interview itself. Because in this competitive world

going to a company straight and getting a job is not so easy. If you don't like

to join engineering i suggest you to do BCA. But after that you must do MCA

as your pg course. And percentage is what college decides. For doing BCA its

enough for you to pass. Most of the colleges expects so.

Supose i get 60% above in 12th maharashtra boards then how much i should score in CET to get admission in electrical engeeneering

To become a software engineer you should choose among Computer science and IT.
your percentage in 12th must be 60% or above as eligibilty for competition exams to get in these colleges is 60%only.
You can get there by cracking IIT,AIEEE,State exams.
many colleges are there like IITS,NITs,BITS,THAPAR uni,PTU, etc.

After passing 12th with Physics, chemistry and Maths you are eligible for
Software engineering.

For Software engineering you have to B.Tech in following stream like:-
> Information Technology
> Computer Science

For admission in top college you have to qualify the entrance exam exam:-
> I.I.T-J.E.E
> A.I.E.E.E
> S.R.M.E.E
> D.C.C
> P.I-C.E.T
etc

See if you want to become software engineer then only required regarding subject knowledge like java & python. Percentage is not required to work in software engineer.

SEE IF YOU WANT TO BECOME SOFTWARE ENGINEER THEN ONLY REQUIRED REGARDING SUBJECT KNOWLEDGE LIKE JAVA & PYTHON. PERCENTAGE IS NOT REQUIRED TO WORK IN SOFTWARE ENGINEER.
