hello,
the educational qualification is 12th standard. In 12th standard the minimum percentage for qualification is 65%

There is no Minimum percentage of marks require for NDA Examination . If you get pass mark in 12th examination then your eligible for NDA Examination .

NDA stands for National Defence academy and this Examination is conducted by the UPSC for every twice in a year .

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination :-

• You should be complete 12th standard in any discipline from recognized university .
• Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination
• Your age should be 16.5 years to 19 years .
• You should be Physically as well as Mentally fit for the NDA Examination .
• You should be Unmarried male candidate .
• You should Citizen of India .

Important :- If your interested to apply for Navy (or) Airforce Academy then you should complete 12th standard in science stream with Physics , Mathematics , then your eligible to apply for this Examination .

The Important Notification for NDA Examination are published in employment news papers and official website of UPSC . You may apply for this Examination in both the online as well offline . I suggest to through the Employment news papers . So that you may collect more information regarding NDA Examination .

Paper I Mathematics
Duration: 2 1/2 hours

Question Type: Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. The question papers (Test Booklets) will be set in English only.
Paper II - General Ability
Duration: 2 1/2 hours

The candidate should be physically and medically fit.
Only unmarried male candidates eligible, girls are not eligible for this exam.

Eligibility for NDA Entrance Exam:-

As to be eligible for the NDA army wing a candidate needs to have passed 12th class in any subject stream. For the NDA Air force wing and the Navy, each of the candidates needs to have passed 12th class in science subject with PCM subject under the state board or its equivalent. The age of the candidate must be in between 16 ½ to 19 years. Candidates must also meet the physical fitness standards as laid out by the NDA.

INFORMATION NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

Friend I am happy to inform you that After passing 12th with any stream from recognized board/ University.

There is no percentage criteria in this exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year in month of April and August.

The age limit for N.D.A exam is 16.5-19 year.

In this exam only unmarried male candidate are eligible.

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

IMPORTANT DATES FOR N.D.A. & N.A. EXAM.(II), 2012
Date of Notification:-05.05.2012
Last date of receipt of form:- 04.06.2012(MONDAY)
Date of exam:-19.08.2012 (SUNDAY)

WHICH SLAYBUS IS CONDUCTED FOR THE EXAMS OF NDA?

1. Should have passed class XII in preceding two year
2. Completed at least one year of NCC in SD/SW
3. 5% bonus marks to be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates
4. Should have 80% attendance in NCC.
5. Should have obtained minimum following marks
a. Science - 65%
b. Science - 65%
c. Commerce - 60%
d. Arts - 55%
