Re: How to prepare for AIEEE?
Cracking AIEEE isnt anykind of a rocket science.
AIEEE is all about SPEED. Yes its true AIEEE actually is a very easy exam. But what makes it tough is the time limit which is very less and humungous number of students appearing for the exam So start with clearing your basic fundamentals first. Prepare NCERT first and then go for higher end books. Also focus on solving previous years papers. Actually if you aim to solve past 10 years papers of AIEEE then nothing can stop you from not getting into AIEEE Apart from that if you need some help then you can join some coaching institute. There are so many coaching institutes which provide top class coaching.. So since you are in 11th then I think you can better start for AIEEE now itself Its better late than never |

Re: How to prepare for AIEEE?
hi!
AIEEE is a very competitive entrance exam for admission in engineering & architecture undergraduate courses in various reputed institutes, all over the country. Spo you need to prepare well for the exam. Starting your preparation from class 11th itself would be the right strategy. Some useful tips you should keep in mind while preparing for AIEEE are: Have a strong hold of the fundamentals. Selection of right books & study materials. Try to solve model papers based on latest exam pattern. Analyze result, find out the weak areas & try to overcome those weak areas. Regular practice is the only key to success in any exam. Refrence books: NCERT class XI & XII books for PCM O.P. Agarwal - IIT Chemistry Halliday, Resnick & Walker - Fundamentals of Physics H.C. Verma - Concepts of Physics Vol I and II R. S. Agarwal - Maths XI & XII |

Re: How to prepare for AIEEE?
AIEEE is all based upon the time factor i.e the questions should be solved in the stipulated time.
Prefer books of NCERT which are the best for both IIT/AIEEE competitive exams. you can even refer books of Arihant prakashan and R.C mukherjee for chemistry. H.C Verma and I.E Orodov for physics, R.S Agarwal and S.L Loni for maths. Try to solve the previous question papers by setting a time limit, like this you can practice yourself. all the best |

Re: How to prepare for AIEEE?
Hello
Cracking AIEEE is not very difficult and even to easy. But if you work hard and spend yourself for this exam then it is not a difficult task. You can't crack AIEEE in one or two months study. The preparation stsrts from your 11th class. The following things will be quite helpful for you for the AIEEE preparation: The first & foremost step is to build a sound & feasible plan for your preparation. Divide your entire time into a reasonable time chart with milestones in between & plan your studies accordingly. Do not overestimate the time you have. You are advised to leave free time in between so that if any module gets delayed you don’t have to change the plan. Study the trend of previous year question papers & draw marks distribution of each subject to find out which topics are most important & which are least. Give priority to important topics & try to put them in early stage of your preparation to avoid any possibility of them being left. Review your plan periodically to find out if there are any lapses & how they can be covered up. To summarize PAGE counselors believe that most of the student’s fail not because of lack of ability or intelligence but because of lack of desire, direction, proper planning & discipline. good luck |

Re: How to prepare for AIEEE?
hey hi
well as you want to take up AIEEE,you better start preparing for it. this is one exam where your spontaneous reaction and method to solve a problem is going to be judged to a great extend and you can acquire this ability by first learning all the concepts in and out then by practicing. its better you start your preparations at the earliest. AIEEE is an easy exam to face and hence it becomes difficult to get selected because all can perform well. therefore you need to put in that extra bit of effort all the best |

Re: How to prepare for AIEEE?
AIEEE is an all india basis engineering entrance examination. the competition is very high in this examination. but the examination is easy.
as you are studying in class 11 so you have a lot of time to prepare for AIEEE. but you should use your time properly to prepare for the AIEEE. first of all i will say go through the syllabus of AIEEE examination. now you will start from class 11. whenever you will study any chapter for your board examination just see is it in the AIEEE syllabus or not. if it is in AIEEE syllabus then study the chapter carefully. clear all basic concepts of each point and solve multiple choice question from the chapter. do it till the class 12. now when you will complete the syllabus of class 12 then there will be some topic which is extra in AIEEE. then buy a good book from the market for AIEEE and study those chapter from that book. there are so many good books are available. then go through the previous year question papers of AIEEE and try to solve the papers. collect at least 5 years previous years question papers. may be you will get the papers at the back of the book which is for AIEEE. then try to solve some model question paper and suggestion paper given in the book. before the examination try to study all the topic again from the syllabus using your text book. then appear in the examination. you may also join in any good coaching center for AIEEE. they will provide you study material, model question papers and suggestion papers. these are also helpful. best of luck. |

Re: How to prepare for AIEEE?
AIEEE is not the harder exam as IIT, if you see previous year question papers,
they need only little concentration and patience. tips and tricks at the time of exams 1.divide all the section with proper time duration 2.only give that much of time in particular section 3.don't waste time in each question on solving them, 4.try to use maximum tricks like multiple of 25*25 will be last two digits must be 25. i am giving you list of books just go through it thoroughly and you will get the conclusion:- Chemistry NCERT Chemistry XI & XII Basic Text Book P. Bahadur physical Chemistry O.P. Agarwal IIT Chemistry Inorganic & Organic Chemistry J.D. Lee Concise Inorganic Chemistry R.T. Morrison, R.N. Boyd Organic Chemistry Physics NCERT Physics XI & XII Cutnell&Johnson Physics Fifth edition RAHUL TULI CONCEPTS &MISCONCEPTIONS IN PHYSICS Halliday, Resnick & Walker Fundamentals of Physics N N Ghosh Coaching at Home Mathematics R. S. Agarwal Maths XI & XII S.L. Loni Plane Trigonometry Part I S.L. Loni Co-ordinate Geometry Hall & Knight Higher Algebra Shanti Narayan Vectors Venkateshwarlu Calculus *hope for the best* |

Re: How to prepare for AIEEE?
The examination may have different marking for different questions. One of the earlier versions of AIEEE had questions of this nature. So read the instructions carefully and understand the relative difficulty levels of different formats. In case all the questions carry equal marks, then the strategy of the student should be based on time management i.e. identify those must do questions initially which you can easily do. Make sure that you identify those must do questions from each of the subjects â€" Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics irrespective of the order of the subjects in the question paper. Another useful tip that experts give is one should study and analyse IIT-JEE 2010 paper as accurately as possible so that you are able to answer similar questions if asked in your AIEEE paper. While solving the AIEEE paper, you have to be quick so don’t waste more then half an hour in chemistry. While solving the paper, most of the questions would be subjective type which requires less solving. Also don’t waste more then 1 hour in physics and utilise rest of the time in mathematics. One last thing one should remember before taking this exam is don't get nervous while solving the paper. Even if you have attempted 70% of the paper, it’s enough to get a rank in top 1000. |

Re: How to prepare for AIEEE?
General information about AIEEE:
Most of the questions in AIEEE are not difficult but they are just different and they require a different approach and mindset Tips for preparation for AIEEE First of all, you must have a thorough knowledge of the syllabus. This will save you from going overboard on a particular topic because you are aware of how much time you can devote to a particular topic. It also helps you in avoiding attention to unnecessary topics. A sound strategy and planning is needed to give appropriate time based on your ability and stick to the strategy as religiously as possible. These are some strategies which will help you in your preparation Proper Planning Long term planning looks at the bigger picture. e.g. when is the JEE exam, when should I complete books/study package, when should I start my revision, what topics should I excel in and how can I excel them, how to work on weak areas etc. Take Mock tests regularly Mock Test is all about solving a practice test or previous year paper in exam condition. Practice test will help you to maintain your calm and composure during the exam inculcates the art of time management set your pace for writing the answers and sparing time for a particular question analyze your strengths and weaknesses Give more time to weaker subject or topic Review your plan periodically to find out if there are any lapses and how they can be covered up. If your learning process is slow, keep studying day after day without getting discouraged. All the subjects are equally important. Devote more time to subject/topic you are weak in. Most of us tend to devote more time on areas we are strong and often shy away from our weakness is never good for competitive exams like this. Solve problems by your self without any help While practicing the problem, always try to solve the problem on your own. If you are unable to solve a problem do not hurry to consult the solution. Study the relevant theory again, paying attention to the finer points and the problem in the back of mind. While doing problem solving try to strengthen and develop your conceptual understanding by analyzing deeply and correlating the problem with real life situations. Once you master the concepts and have improved your problem-solving skills, then only learn the shortcuts which will help you save time during exam. Improve your speed While practicing identify your strong & weak areas, you can do this subject-wise, topic-wise and question-wise. Through a structured test you should be able to diagnose which chapter, which concept and what type of problems you need to practice more. One should remember that both speed and strike rate are important for success. Continuously develop the ability to do things fast and accurately. Keep interacting with people who are preparing. Revision Revision should be conducted on daily basis in a way so that you don’t miss out any things you have already covered. Such situation comes across at the initial levels but regular revision will remove this problem. While preparing the time-line for the preparation, make sure to leave time for complete revision. Do go through last ten years AIEEE question paper. This will help you understand the type and level of questions, and every year there are many questions based on similar concepts asked before. Question selection It is very important to understand what you have to attempt and what you have to leave. Selection of question is very important. So success depends upon how judiciously one is able to select the questions. To optimize your performance you should quickly scan for easy question and come back to the difficult ones later. regards neha |
