HI i am betch in cse dept i want know how to prepare for psu exam like bel

Normally there will be around 150-200 Questions asked in the written test out of which Technical questions will cover 75% of total questions and the rest of the questions will be generally consisting of Aptitude, General Awareness & current affairs along with English.

Hence you need to concentrate on your core subjects like C & DS, Unix, Software Engineering, Java, DBMS.The core category pertains to the following subjects
like Data Structures and Algorithms,Programming Languages,Operating Systems,Computer Organisation and Architecture.

So, if you prepare well in all these topics then you can score well in the BEL Entrance test.Remember that there are only 40 seats for CSE for the present recruitment of Engineers to BEL hence you need to perform extremely well to get selected.Prepare questions of Aptitude and General Awareness through standard books like R.S Agarwal, Arun Sharma. These books will definitely help you for 25% of the questions.

Actually i am preparing for BEL Exam and i am following syllabus of Gate exam for computer science. Apart from that do i have to study few more topics like you mentioned
Java, Unix etc. It will be great help for me if you give me some lead to prepare well.
