SYNTEL Placement Test

The first round of the placement procedure is the online test. This test comprises of 5 sections. Those include:

Articles & Prepositions
Comprehension
Correcting Sentence
Quantitative Aptitude
Series Completion & Coding

The book by R.S. Agarwal will be more than enough to cover these topics. Each of these sections will carry 14 questions. Management of time is very much important here. All questions must be answered within the given time limit. Before appearing for this test, it would be prudent if the candidates attend some spoken English classes. It will be more beneficial for them if they practice their verbal skills with their friends. They will thus be able to find our grammatical errors. Reading English newspapers will also be good.

SYNTEL Placement Interview

The second round in the SYNTEL Placement Interview is the Technical Round. Candidates will be asked about their areas of study. Many questions related to this topic will be asked. The most important thing all candidates must know about this part of the interview is that practical knowledge is given importance. Questions on the projects done by the aspirants will be asked as well.

SYNTEL Placement Test Preparation Tips

Questions of the objective nature will be asked in this part of the placement procedure. In fact, this part can be considered to be the easiest part of the selection procedure. Many reference books are available for the students to use. These can be got from all leading book stores. The Psychometric Test will comprise of 150 questions and the time allotted to finish answering all these questions is 30 minutes. This test can be quite tricky and is meant to assess the basic character of the aspirant.

SYNTEL Placement Interview Preparation Tips

Aspirants who have cleared all the aforementioned steps in the placement procedure will have to score well in the HR Interview. The maximum time period of this round is 20 minutes. Here, aspirants will be needed to self introduce themselves, talk about the circumstances that let them know about the vacancy etc in addition to a number of other related questions. Questions on the candidate’s hobby will be asked as well. One thing that is considered to be most important is communicative skills. English grammar is very much important and candidates must ensure that their writing as well as verbal skills is good.

Confidence is another aspect all candidates must have. They must have the capacity to answer questions without being frightened. There is no reason to be frightened at all. Stuttering is also not an option. If one desires to score well in this part of the placement procedure, they must be self-assured in their manner of approach and frank in answering the questions. Never ever try to be over smart in front of the panel of judges. It will only jeopardize your chances for getting the job. In case you are unsure about an answer, tell that to them frankly.

Hi !! If you have 50% in through out your career then only you are eligible for SYNTEL ONLINE TEST.The syntel aptitude test which was followed in the previous years consists of 50 questions in 45 minutes... hope it will be the same this year too. The sections which is covered in the aptitude test are Reasoning,Complete the series, Quantitative, Reading Comprehension, Sentence Correction, Basic Grammar. Questions are not very tough only problem is timing, you will get very less time to spend for solving a question so your basic of all respective topics should be very strong so PRACTICE WELL with the help of previous year paper..All the Best!!

Syntel online test is already in AP in some of the colleges.
You will get questions on Aptitude and on programming languages. Read aptitude book for practice you can download previous year question papers from internet and practice those questions.

Candidates need to have the following minimum qualifications for appearing in the Syntel Campus Placement Exam :-

1) The candidate must not have any active backlogs at the time of placement..

Hello sir, the syntel recruitment exam is very easy one. The syllabus is very common. It consists of general aptitude, numerical and mostly grammar and reasoning questions. The test will consist of question based on your core subjects like operating system, data structure etc. Prepare well for these topics. The main area of questions are from your fundamentals, especially the programming section. Prepare accordingly. Go through whatever you have learned in the first and second year of your graduation/ engineering. Maximum questions are asked from them also try to get access to previous year question papers of syntel to get better idea of the exam.
