How should I apply for IAS exam? I have done graduation in correspondence


Hi

My name is Sathish, i have done my graduation in correspondance, it is UGC recognised university.

My age is 31 yrs (SC)

Please let me know can i apply for IAS.

Hai,

Any graduation completed candidate can be eligible for IAS exam.

IAS exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year.

Educational qualification:-

The candidate should be complete bachelor's degree or any graduation from a recognised university.

Final year graduation students are also eligible.

Percentage is not required for this exam.


Nationality:-

Citizen of india.


Age criteria:-

The age limits are 21 years to 30years,

3years age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.


Selection process:-

-->Civil services preliminary examination,

-->Civil services main exam,

-->Personal interview.

IAS exams are conducted by UPSC every year. You must have graduation degree from a recognized university for IAS.

Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs.



How to apply:
•Apply online by using the website
http://www.upsconline.nic.in
•Apply offline by purchasing the application form from designated post offices throughout the country.
