Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Examination for recruitment to the Services and Posts mentioned below will be held by the Union Public Service Commission on 23rd May , 2010
you must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices (specified in Appendix-III of the Notice) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/-
Last Date for Receipt of applications:
All applications must reach the “Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069” either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 5th January, 2009.

last date of reciept of application form:01.02.2010

date of prelims:23.05.2010

you can obtain the application form from post office in your area,by paying a cash of rs.20.

eligibility criteria are;

1)age between 21 -30 years
2)should be graduate in any discipline.

the notification of IAS 2010 is come on 02-01-2010 and the last date of submission of form is 01-02-2010,
and the prelm exam will be on 23 may 2010.

Yes, You can appear for the IAS examination. Literal eligibility is a graduate degree from any discipline. No particular specialisation or specific percentage of marks is required to appear. So you are cent persent eligible to apply for the examination.

After graduation you can apply for I.A.S exam.
I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Age should be in between 21-30 year. For ST/SC candidate age should be in between 21-33 year.

You can apply online or offline.
The Form cost is just 20 Rs.
