ISRO and DRDO both conducts there own entrances which if followed by an interview, for recruiting bachelor engineers as a junior scientist or other equivalent post.

the minimum eligibility criteria is you must have passed your engineering with atleast 65% aggregate including all semesters.

hey you have to prepare well if you want to join isro and drdo because both have an entrance exam as well as interview which is considered to be very tough to crack.also you need to score >65% in your graduation as eligibility.

minimum eligibility for entrance is 65%in graduation in both ISRO and DRDO........so try to do well

you can get into drdo through military engineering services

for join to isro/drdo,you have to write the exam conducted by isro and drdo.

Isro formally takes only 3 branches:
1.computer science
2.electronics & telecom
3..mechanical

Can I join ISRO as a scientist after MCA and two years work experience in one of the reputed IT firms.

indian space research organisation is a priviledged organisation from india working on space technology.
basically,isro takes 3 departments:
cs,mechanical and ece.
going through their entrance you could join isro.
its a wonderful career to start with.

drdo is also good,takes more than 13 branches.

for drdo there are no openings in 2010

they are going to conduct the exam on 2011

so be prepared...

Yes you can join these govt sectors but for that you have to face entrance exams for ISRO and DRDO.
These exams held once a year and have to very tough competion to clear it.

With regards to your query that you want to join ISRO or DRDO then i want to tell you that you can very well join it because every year these organization conduct an exam on all india level and from there they take bright engineering students from there.So when this advertisement comes you can apply on it and go for the exam.

You must regularly check their websites for any recruitment process to come.

yes obviously you can join ISRO ,as you are mechanical engineer if you are specialised in any mechanical softwares like Autocad,solidworks,Ansys then you can easily join the designing field after you fulfill the elligibility criteria of written exam conducted by ISRO.
