I want to know the seat availability in cusat...I have a Muslim reservation...

Central Universities' conducts Common Entrance Test (CUCET) for admission in various courses.

CUCET is conducted for Admission to Integrated, Under-Graduate, Post-Graduate and Research Programmes in 10 Central Universities’ Central Universities of Bihar, Gujarat, Jammu, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Kerala, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.

Application form for CUCET are now closed.Last date for availability of offline application forms for 2013 was 20-Apr-13.

Eligibility criteria are different for different courses.no of seats available in courses and eligibility criteria is attached here you can download.

In this University you will be able to take admission in Post Graduation Degree courses and Engineering Undergraduate courses.The courses offered are :-

• MBA.
• M.Tech.
• B.Tech.
• MA in Russian/German.
• P.hD.
• M.Phil.

In order to take admission in these courses you will have to appear in CAT(Common Admission Test) conducted by this university.


The number of seat available per course are as follows :-

• MBA - 60 Seats.
• M.Tech - 45 Seats.
• B.Tech(Lateral Entry) - 50 Seats.
• MA in German/Russia - 30 Seats.
• P.hD - 20 Seats.
• M.Phil - 15 Seats.

For each curse there is different eligibility requirements .Its details are as follows :-


Management :-
~You should have a bachelor degree of 3 years minimum from recognized university.
~Your minimum marks in Bachelor degree should be 50%.

Engineering
~For taking admission in B.Tech Lateral scheme you should have a Diploma degree from recognized technical board.
~Your minimum marks in Diploma should be 60%.
~For taking admission in M.tech course you should be qualified in GATE Exam and you should have a valid 4 year's Engineering degree.


MA IN Russian/German :-
~You should have a bachelor degree in any discipline.
~Your minimum marks in Graduation should be 45%.


P.hD and M.Phil :-
~For this course you should have a Post Graduate degree in particular discipline from recognized university.
~You must have teaching r working experience in your specified field.
~During the time of admission you will have to submit your project related to your course from any specific subject of your field.

I have got 5054 rank in general and 541 rank in muslim category of CUSAT CAT . Will i get free seat in Computer engineering?

in CUSAT how many seats are available in mechanical for lateral entry canditates
