I want information about UPSC and IES exams?can u tel me info regarding syllabus and dates of form?

UPSC conducts many exams and it provides notification for all exams on its official website-www.upsc.gov.in . the elligibility criteria differs with nature of exam. so, for dates of any upsc exam and also elligibility ,please visit www.upsc.gov.in regularly or read employement news regularly. IES EXAM is also not an exception.

Here are the details Of IES exam 2011

IES Exam 2011 Important dates:
Date of notification: 25th December, 2010.
Last date for receipt of IES 2011 forms: 24.01.2011 (Mon).
Date of IES 2011 exam: 14.05.2011 (3 days exam)

IES Exam Eligibility:
Age Eligibility:
You need to be between 21 years to 30 years on the 1st August, 2011.
Age relaxations exist as per Govt. rules.

Academic Eligibility:
You must be a graduate in Engineering from a recognized university.
Even Final year students can also appear in IES exam, provided he/she can provide the proof of passing the exam when IES exam (Written) result comes out, which is around December 2011.

UPSC IES Exam 2011 Date

A combined competitive examination for recruitment to the Services / posts mentioned in para 2 below will be held by the Union Public Service Commission at Agartla, Ahmedabad, Aizwal, Aligarh, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bareilly, Bhopal, Kolkata (Calcutta), Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dharwar, Dispur (Guwahari), Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itaganar, Jaipur, Jammu, Jorhat, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji (Goa), Patna, Portbolar, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar, Thiruvanandapuram, Tirupati, Udaipur and Vishakhapatnam commencing on 14th May, 2011 in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) in the Gazette of India Extra-ordinary dated the 8th January, 2011.

UPSC Indian Engineering Service Examination – IES 2011 Exam Date: 14th May, 2011.

The Centres and the Date of Holding the Indian Engineering Service Examination as Mentioned above are Liable to be Changed at the Discretion of the commission.

The important dates of Civil services exam conducted by UPSC is as follows:

Date of notification - 19.02.2011
The last date of receipt of application - 21.03.2011(MONDAY).
The Date of Examination - 12.06.2011 (SUNDAY)

The exam pattern of civil services has changed from the current year. There shall be two objective type papers carrying equal marks.So now, it shall be two papers carrying 200 marks each.

Sorry, you can not appear for IES exam this year because the deadline for submitting the application form has already passed.

The IES or the Engineering Service exam is conducted by the UPSC for the selection of graduate engineers to various posts.

Age Limits:

A candidate must have attained minimum 21years of age as on 1st august of the year of the exam.

Also, the upper age limit for candidate is 30 years.
