I am person doing PhD in biotechnology.Unlike to say its good if your are rich enough.Unless even here in western I am only having 50000 INR/month after taxes.So ,basically in India one may be paid in between7500-25000/month depend on the experience.Mostly around 80% of m.sc.biotech graduates are jobless,where 10 % change their field and the rest are paid.
