It is not like that which language is necessary but the importance is that which language you know perfectly as both c and c++ are basic languages for learning any language ..
and also remember different companies work on different language or platform so you cannot all language to apply for all companies but you have to learn a language perfectly to apply all companies... so i can suggest you to prepare one platform firmly and confidently... |

Re: Which language among C and C++ is necessary to get a software job?
Both C & C++ languages are important for software jobs because both languages are basic language for software programming.
In many companies at the time of interview, lots of questions are asked from C & C++. Java, Oracle etc. are the advanced version of C & C++. If you don't know about C & C++ then you can't understand & work in software program or you can't understand advanced software languages. So it is necessary & important to know about C & C++ for software jobs. |

Re: Which language among C and C++ is necessary to get a software job?
Both c and C++ are the languages that one should have grip or command to get a software job.
Both are having the similar importance. There will not be much variation in the both languages. So, if one is efficient in C, obviously he can become good at C++ very easily. Infact JAVA and dotnet these are the emerging languages which majority of the candidates trying to learn and many of the jobs are being alloted. Even though, C and C++ should be necessary on these languages many of the qestions will be posed at the time of recruitment. So try to be good in both the languages |

C and C++ are both important for any programmer.
But C++ being more advanced and contains OOP concepts has a greater demand in the market. Learn all the concepts before your Interview. |

Re: Which language among C and C++ is necessary to get a software job?
To get a job in software field, you should know computer languages like C, C++, JAVA, .NET, ORACLE, HTML etc....
but whatever you know, you should know it properly. If you are good in C and JAVA, then focus on these languages more to become an expert in these languages... if you also know other languages slightly, then its better. but the main thing is what you know, know it right. |

Both the languages i.e c and c++ are equally important for getting a job in a software company..
c and c++ are basic languages they build up a platform for you to learn any higher languages like java, .net etc..in any software company u will have to learn higher languages so your c and c++ basics should be very strong so during placements they check for both the languages. all the best |

Re: Which language among C and C++ is necessary to get a software job?
For optimal memory
management, I would recommend C or C++, even though between those two, I would say C++ because of the high number of features it has. As for particular arguments regarding the memory management between C and C++, I do not know. In any case, the fact that they allow you to treat things in a much more controlled and customized way, means that you must not relax and forget to do that management yourself. Hope that helps. |

Re: Which language among C and C++ is necessary to get a software job?
Both the C and C++ language do not have much difference in their programming codes. But C is the basic language so to get better knowledge you must learn C.
To get a software job you must also learn some other languages also like JAVA, .NET, web-designing, HTML, PHP, ORACLE, DRUPAL, etc, |

Re: Which language among C and C++ is necessary to get a software job?
Hello,
Both the C and c++ languages are very important to get a software job. It is slight difference that C is a structure oriented program. And c++ is a object oriented program. Not only c,c++ but Java is a purely object oriented language is it also very important job. And advance of java is j2ee,Ejb but is very required to software student. C is the basic of all. Then oracle the most demand field many are interested then don't wait do it. Then .Net,VB the only thing is you should have creative mind. So you have bright future if you study it. You can earn a lot. Hope for the best Best wishes |

Re: Which language among C and C++ is necessary to get a software job?
Dear friend....
c and c++ languages are the base of the programming languages. c is a structured language. and c++ is an object oriented language. C++ will be better for getting job, but you have a more better option now. it is the JAVA language. java is a world wide language, there is a huge demand in the IT sector for the java developer. best of luck. |
