NET Stands for National Eligibility Test and this examination is conducted by University Grants Commission twice in a year . Mostly this examination is conducted by UGC twice in a years as namely June and December .

Eligibility Criteria :-

To apply for NET examination , you should have a completed your post graduate degree with any desire subject from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and those in the final year of master degree may also eligible to apply for NET examination .

You must secure at least 55% aggregate marks in their examination and 50% aggregate marks for reserved categories . If you are failed in the final year of semester of Master degree and then your disqualified from NET examination .

NET examination consist of three papers and all papers exam held in the same day . Previous year question papers , Scheme of pattern and Syllabus and other details are available in the official website of UGC .

There is no upper age limits for Lectureship examination and not more than 28 years for Junior Research Fellowship programming . Relaxation is given to the reserved categories for Lectureship Programming . Maximum 5 years relaxation for reserved categories .

Cost of application is 450/- for General candidates , 225/- for OBC candidates , 110 for other reserved categories . The candidate have to pay the fees through Bank_Challan in direct SBI Branches .

Lots of Books are available for NET examination , there is Various publications like Gupta's , Upkar's and there is various author different subjects . Try to buy the books prepare now on wards for NET examination .

University Grants Commision conduct the NET(national eligibility test) exam for JRF and LECTURERSHIP .

This exam held twice a year in month of june and december.
Notification comes in month of nmarch and october.

you can apply online only on the UGC website.

You must have Post graduation degree in any subject with 55% from any
recognised university. If you are in final year of post graduation then also can apply.

There is no upper age limit for lecturership but for jrf, maximum age is 28 year.

The last date of application is 02.05.2012.

The last date of submission of hard copy of on line application along with fees and other documents is 09.05.2012.

The NET exam will be held on 26.06.2012.

The candidate must be an Indian National having completed Post Graduation Degree with 55% marks from a recognised University and not bellow the age of 19 years is eligible to apply for NET. There is no upper age limit for those applying for Lectureship but the candidate applying for JRF should be within 28 years.

As the last date for online application was 30th April 2012 for the June examination of NET but due to the students response the date is extended upto 2nd Of May 2012.

NET exam conducted by the UGC. The minimum qualification required for this exam is PG from a recognized university with 50% marks there is no upper age limit for this exam.
