LIC ADO exam has two sections - first section on numerical and reasoning ability, which will have 50 questions carrying 1 mark each. Section 2 will have questions from GK and English again 25 question each having 1 mark. All are of objective type questions, so total there are 100 questions and 100 marks. The LIC ADO Exam is a written exam in which you will have to answer 100 objective type questions divided into two papers. (The First Paper will have 25 questions each from Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability and the Second Paper will feature 25 questions each from English and GK+Current Affairs). Duration of Exam is 2 hrs.

The Total Marks for the exam is 100 and so each question carries 1 mark.

if u secure more than 80 u ll qualify as i did in previous

more than 70 is secure. because none of the exams has more than 55 % cut off marks, if you have good accuracy for general category.

but here time was 2 hr for 100 questions so it would be 65 .

Q.in reasoning section the question in circle abcdefgh is wrong i want to inform lic ado recruitment board what can i do sugest me.

the circle section is not wrong i solved that and checked also but i can't solve the greater than or smaller than question these question confuse me so i leave them if anyone do that questions then tell me the answer of 1st ques is it only C.

it is very easy to say that i have done 80 ;90 question in lic ado.but one thinkg should be clear that there is negative marking. so dont forget if u did 80 question with accuracy it means 20 is wrong.from 80 q u reduce 6 to 7 question bcause of negative.i think 60 to 70 is safe.gs n english was not easy.specially gs was not easy.

i have given the exam....answered about 80...when will th e results come out??

in placed of forth there will come three in circle reasoning question

Cracking LIC ADO exam depends much on the division from which you are appearing for the exam. eg if a candidate appears from Pune which is a major city from where candidates prepare for competitive exams, he may require well above 85 marks to crack this exam but candidates from other centers in Maharashtra may do it only in 75 marks.
Result may take at least 1 month more as it did in 2008 or in resent LIC AAO exam.
So have patience and wish you all best luck.

The LIC ADO exam pattern has changed.Earlier there were 50 questions from section A which consisted of reasoning & numerical ability & 25 questions each from gk & english which consisted of section B. All the questions werw of 1 marks.That is there were 100 questions of toatal 100 marks.

But now there are 25 questions each from numerical ability, reasoning, english & gk consisting of 1 marks each. There is also a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Cut off marks would never be set as the maximum.Exams are conducted for selecting the candidates.So definitely cut of would be around 55-60%.I believe the cut off marks are set in advance, not after the examination. So Administrators never know whether the exam is diff: or easy.Here the exam was easy.so keep your fingers cross for a good result... All the Best

The LIC ADO exam will be held in the next year in the month June and the result will be declared most probably in 1 st week of September..
So prepare for the next year because you are to late too prepare for it..
