what is main difference between indian and american institute of technology

The main difference in between Indian and American technical institutes is of infrastructure, American institutes have better scope than Indian institutes as the lab facilities in American Institutes are far better than Indian Institutes. Also the professors in American Institutes are much more qualified than Indian Institute and hence there is a big difference when it comes to the quality of education. Students of American Institutes are easily getting jobs in any technical companies but the placement record of Indian institutes is just an average of 30% to 40%.

As a matter of fact Indian Institutes are more focusing on how to make money from students whereas excellent quality of education is the main principles of American Institute. As a result many talented students are preferring American technical institutes like MIT for the technical course.

In India there are very few technical institutes which comes under A++ categories. Out of them only 20-30% have NAAC accreditation which matters a lot.
