Both the mechanical engineering and production engineering courses have their own advantages. Hence it will be better for you to take in a decision regarding the best course which is suitable for you. Both these courses provide immense job opportunities for you. There are several post graduate courses related to production engineering. Some of the important courses are - Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Master of Technology Degree Course, M.Tech. Degree in Production Engineering with Production Technology subjects etc. You need to do a graduation course in the same subject area to go for a post graduate course.
