Hello Friend ,

commerce would be helpful for you , but it is not mandatory to have a maths as a subject in commerce because at CA-CPT level you will be having maths as a subject . so if you want to opt CA then i would suggest you to complete your Graduation first with 55 % marks then there will be no need to appear for CPT you can directly enroll yourself in IPCC ....

Thank You ...

Hope This Helps you ....

Good Luck...

HI DEAR,

My dear CHATERED ACCOUNTANT course is purely based on accounts...but still you need to have some basics in maths as in cpt entrance exam some question will based on maths.

so one way is that you can do CA after completing graduation then you no need to write CPT Entrance directly you can start IPCC Group 1 Level...

I hope this information helps you at the maximum.....

No maths is not mandatory for CA course. You should have a bachelor's degree in commerce stream with minimum 55% marks.

In that case you can get direct entry in IPCC.

Yes, Guys......... Math’s is the compulsory subject for CA (Chartered Accountant) because, in CA, there will be tough Account and if applicants are good in calculation then only he/she will be good in Accounts so math is an important to subject for those applicants who want to do CA.

Hello friend

As per my opinion you should take maths with commerce stream for perusing CA.

But it is not compulsory because science students or commerce ip students also appear for CPT.

CPT includes maths so if you have knowledge in maths it would be helpful.

Also you have to consider that FINAL level of CA course also includes application of mathematics. So it is better to have maths with your studies.

So whether to connsider or not is your opinion.

But do perform well.

Regards.
