Different Colleges Have Different Eligiblity Creteria, For Admission In MCA Course.

But To Get Admission In MCA, You Must Have A Graduate Degree And You Have A Maths In Your 12th Examination.


So, If You Have Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's degree in any discipline Or Equivalent Or Relevant higher qualification With

Pass in Computer or Maths at Graduation level

Or

Pass in Maths at 10+2 level, Then You Are Eligible to Apply for MCA Course.

So, If You Have A Maths In Your 12th Exams Or In Your Graduation, Then You Are Eligible to Apply for MCA.

Yes you can do MCA course only when you complete your intermediate course with mathematics subject.
as you mention your graduation completed with the arts stream s oyour higher study with only mathematics is eligible to enter in the MCA.

To get admission to MCA, you have to give various entrance exam like NIMCET, AIMCET, MAH MCA-CET, PU MCA...

to do the MCA after the graduation in the Arts stream you have to have maths in the 12th board as a subject and there even you should have a pass in the maths in the 12th board exam and with the 50% in the graduation you can apply in the colleges which provide the MCA degree.......

You have not mentioned your subject in graduation.

For MCA the eligibility criteria is any graduation with 50% marks but mathematics is compulsary in graduation.

Some universities allow even less then 50% marks in graduation. But Math is compulsary.

MCA is a very reputed post graduate degree , if possible take admission.

MCA is an entirely different stream from the Arts stream. For pursuing a MCA course it is a must that the candidate should have completed at least 12th and graduation with Maths as a subject. Also computers should have been one of the subjects during graduation. Since you are from the arts background the chances of you having pursued these courses is less. So incase you havnt pursued these courses you are not eligible to pursue an MCA course.

MCA stands for “Master of Computer Application” and It's an Master degree . The duration of the course is for 3 years and the course is divided into 6 semester and somewhere it is 2 years and the course is divided into 4 semester.It's vary from Institution to Institution.
