NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized university Or equivalent qualification are applicable for NDA exam.Candidates who are appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for the examination.

*National Defense Academy (NDA) allows only male candidates to apply for the NDA entrance exam. Candidates who desire to join the Army wing of the NDA must have a pass in class 12 or its equal from any subject stream. The certification must be from a recognized board or university.

*Those who aspire to join the Naval Wing and the Air Force must have a pass in class 12 in science.Candidates who are going to appear for the class 12 or its equal exam are also suitable to submit an application for this exam. As to get admitted into the Naval Academy and National Defense Academy, the candidates also need to pass in the physical fitness test, as part of the selection process.

*Candidates who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried males. They must be at least 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam.

NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam, which is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) every year for twice.
Through this examination one can apply for all the combatant branches of the Indian army,
i.e.,
1. INDIAN AIR FORCE (IAF)
2. INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY (NA)
3. INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY (IMA).

The educational requirements-

12th degree from a recognized board,For apply in IAF & NA , you must have subjects Physics & Maths in 12th with at least 60% aggregate.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC, two times in a year, for this year Both NDA Examination was already completed and if you have not appeared for this examination, then you have missed the chance.

But soon next year NDA(I) Examination notification is going to be published in the official website.

The notification is going to be published soon in the month of December, after the notification online registrations will be started, eligible candidates may fill the application form online from the official website, the application form available in 2 parts. You have to fill both the parts completely.

Only unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19 years are eligible for NDA Examination.

You have to complete your Intermediate examination to apply for NDA Examination, this examination is conducted for the recruitment of these 3 wings of NDA namely,

=> Army wings
=> Naval wings
=> Air force wings

If you have study PCM subjects in your intermediate examination, then you are eligible for all the wings of NDA.

For next year NDA(I) Examination, Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1995 and not later than 1st July, 1997 are eligible.

Height – Male 165 cm Pahari Male (general also) & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm
Female 150 cm Pahari Female (general also) & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm
Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm.
Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm

Only unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19 years are eligible for NDA Examination.
