wat is ms yaar master of science or microsoft word im little confuse but there is one thing if its master of science then how is equivalent 2 b.tech yaar its not b.tech mesns u have to provide an engg degree in professionla in that field whch u have done b.tech ok

yes this exam is equivalent to b.tech in fact you can say MS program is much better than b.tech.............so if you want to go for it then dont be in confusion and go for it.........

MS is a post graduate programme and is equivalent to Mtech and not Btech

yes masters is equivalent to B.Tech if it is from science side .
With your MS(programming ) you can go for M.Tech because you are eligible if you have MCA/Msc/MS degree. for M.tech you have to give the GATE test. prepare ot from GK publications GATE 2010.

ms is the post graduation..and btech is graduation...
you hav to qualify the exam name GRE...that will make you eligible for studying in abroad university...and also some iit give ms if your are a gate qualified..

MS is not equivalent to b.tech, both are different field, after B.tech you
can go for M.S. MS is Master of Science, a postgraduate university Master's
degree. You can do MS from abroad also but you'll have to give your GRE and
TOEFL for US.........

So, i will tell you and inform you that MS program is
not equivalent to b.tech.......

no ms program is different from b.tech ms is masters in any subject(s) that is a course of 2-3 yrs.M.S course can take anywhere from 2 to 4 years. It depends a lot on your interactions with your guide. If you handle situations well, you might turn this to an opportunity, and learn to be calm and tough, mentally. But, it is not easy!

b.tech is totally different you can have diff. career options increase your knowledge you can go for further studies and also for professional lines.donr mess things.

B.tech is called as Bachelor in technology but MS is master in surgery,but MS is equivalent
to M.tech.Rather both have importance in their own places,its good you donot compare

yeah it is equivalent...if ms is done fm foreign universities then no prob....if done fm india then need to look at brand value....

In jobs MS is equivalent to B.Tech
Technically we cannot compare these two.
But you can find job as B.Tech/MS.

Not it is not same as because both the courses are from the different fields

One for the master field and another one is fro the technical field..

No...MS program is not equivalent to B.Tech course..

MS is meant for doing Master's in science that is a post graduation course somewhat same like Phd program.

Whereas, B.Tech is a graduation degree course in technical or engineering field.

So don't mingle these two different course paths..

My graduation is BE( Computer Science and engineering), Masters degree is ME(Computer Science and engineering)and Doctoral degree is awarded as Ph.D in applied scince, i am having 11(eleven) years of teaching experience in engineering college, out of 11 years, five years at lecturer level and six years at Asst. Professor cadre level, am i eligible for professor post in engineering college particularly in Computer Science and engineering branch.

MS is a mastersdegree so it not equivalent to b.tech but it is a good option after doing b.tech to gain good salary in good companies.they are entirely different from each other.

B.Tech is of bachelors degree and MS is of masters that is we do after B.Tech.

And if you do from foreign exposure is more, universality of approach is more.So that you can be a better engineer.

MS is equivalent to master degree ie m.tech or m.e and its is well over b.e/b.tech.

hii friend..here i can help you.........MS is post graduation degree.....btech is a graduation degree......there is no comparision between these.........MS is done after btech...
