which companies take students on the basis of gate scorecard?

hi...
there are few public sector companies which call for interview on the basis of gate score,
not all of then but only few of them like
INDIAN OIL COOPERATION LIMITED
BABA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTER
these companies select the student on the combined performance of gate score and interview score
all the best

In the electronics side......indian oil corporation ans even some other companies recruit and also gives internship on the basisi of GATE score

Yes Definately ! Its True that Some Companies Recruit Candidates Who Appear In Gate Entrance Examinations. Many companies want gate score wheather You Have Scored Good Marks or not Some companies such as Wipro, Binani, Infosys, Tata, Hier. So, Please concentrate in Good Gate Score.

So, if You want to Get Good Jobs, Then Please Scored Good Marks In GATE Entrance Exams. And GATE Exams Score will Helps At The Time Of Interview, And with The Help Of GATE Score You will get Good Jobs.

Only PSUs like IOCL and BARC consider GATE scorecard for recruitment.

Other consider it as education testimonial.
If you appear in interview of core company related your branch then it will help you if you have GATE scorecard because it shows that you have technical knowledge.
But in companies work in other field then will not make any difference.

Well in market there are so many companies which recruit with GATE score like Wipro, Binani, Infosys, Tata, Hier ,TCS,INDIAN OIL COOPERATION LIMITED,Baba atomic research center

so many other companies recruit with GATE score.

GATE score is taken by various companies. From my knowledge other than Indian Oil Corporation(IOC), the companies taking GATE score are
1.Kalpakkam Atomic Power Station
2.Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO)
3.Bhabha Atomic Research Center(BARC)
4.National Thermal Power Corporation(NTPC)
5.Indian Council of Agricultural Research(ICAR)

These companies will consider your Gate score and they will call you for further process if you are eligible.

Yes there are various psu which are recruiting as per the gate score card.at present for post of engineer trainee of 800 post by BHEL.notification for this is already announced.and other psu are likely to announce or announce after gate result.

As per my research by now only BHEL, NTPC and IOCL have decided to use GATE 2012 score for recruitment from 2012 onwards

my thought.........if any one getting goods score in GATE. so why peoples choosing the M.Tech if its getting good salary package in companies.Peoples minds are diverted self and why they left the opportunity. Obvious this time everyone needed and fighting for good salary jobs.
