Well sir/madam suppose that If i qualify lecturership( it means if i cross 33 years obc )am i eligible to pursue phd in iits ?

Getting lectureship will be eligible for you until you are of the age of 37, according to government colleges. But clearing PhD. is not a possibility in that time. You will get 4 years more. In this amount of time you will have to sit for written tests in IITs or other PhD. institutes, then you have to clear the test and its subsequent interview. This procedure takes at least one to two years.
Mostly candidates have to try for PhD. written tests for at least two to three times to clear the entire procedure. Then after enrollment you will need another 7-8 years to complete the PhD.
So it is better you go for jobs other than lectureships and pursue MBA course rather than PhD. course. If you make into some top ranking institutes like IIMs or XLRIs then you will get high salaried jobs after you pass out from such an institute. But you have to clear either CAT or MAT or GMAT or XAT entrance tests for getting admission in such institutes. Then it will only take 2 years for you to complete MBA, in place of 7-8 years of PhD. So think about it.

No, you are not eligible for PhD programme from IITs. Criteria for PhD in IITs is listed below:-

## Upper age limit is 28 years (B.Tech/B.E/MCA/MBA) and 32 years (M.Tech/M.E/M.S/M.Phil).

## 60% marks are required in final academic year of programme for general/OBC.

## 55% marks are required in final academic year for SC/ST.

Yes you can do phd from IIT like punjab,delhi,maharastra IIT.

The age bar for the phd scholars should not exceed more than 30 years.

But there is age relaxation for sc candidate or st candidate or obc candidate as per iit norms.

As you are from obc category,the age bar for obc is 33 years (3 years of relaxation).

The salary for phd scholars for first two years would be Rs 18,000-20,000/- ( varies from college to university)

For next 2 years the salary wpuld be Rs 25,000-32,000/m. Ir also varies from college to university.
