Re: Which optional should a computer science student choose for IAS exam?
Actually ..in CSE(Civil Services Examination) there is no optional relating to CS/IT
so you have to opt some general subjects so that you can compete with other candidates. select some subjects like mathematics geography stats. psychology etc.., for further details you can get into these links www.onestopias.com www.upscportal.com regards. ~aditya~ |

Re: Which optional should a computer science student choose for IAS exam?
Whatever background you have come from, it is not that you have to choose subjects from that background too.
You can choose subjects in which you have good knowledge, no matter whether it is your course subject or. Be confident what you choose... You should those subjects in which you can score good marks. those subjects which you love to learn and have very much interest. For CSE students, you can choose: Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, statistics....etc. |

Re: Which optional should a computer science student choose for IAS exam?
It is very nice to know that you want to became a astronaut. To became astronaut you have work hard after completing your 10th.
It is very much necessary that you take science on12th with math, physics, chemistry subjects. In 12 th you have to score good marks to sit the exam like JEE, AIEEE,IIT exam. In these exam only IIT exam needs high parentage on 12th . On these exam you have to score good rank as there are few collages provide b.tech on aerospace or astronaut technology . In AIEEE or JEE syllabus is physics, chemistry, math read on 12th. Another way after 12th you have to pass b.sc and apply m.sc on space science . After this you have to sit for NASA,ISRO exam for the post . After qualifying exam followed interview you will able to be aastronaut. best of luck |
