The percentage of marks required in Master of Computer Application to apply for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test is 55% marks. It is relaxed by 5% for reserved category candidates.

If a candidate has less than this required percentage of marks then he can not apply for MCA course.

To appear for UGC-NET, 55% is required in Masters courses (like MCA(H), etc.). While for reserved category candidates, 5% relaxation is offered).

If you have secured at least 55% marks, then you can apply for UGC-NET exam.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test and to appear in the same examination in any subject the minimum education required is a master's degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. Marks relaxation of 5% is allowed for SC/ST or PH category candidates.

Therefore, to appear in NET in Computer Application, you need to have secured at least 55% marks (or 50% in case you belong to SC/ST or PH category) in your MCA degree course to appear in UGC NET held by NTA.
