I am Nilesh from Pune.I am an B.Sc Chemistry graduate and an MBA post graduate in Marketing and Systems.I have 4 years experience in Sales.I wish to change my field to Science side and switch over to either Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Clinical Research.I am confused about which side should I opt.Which could be the good sector for my profile?kindly advise.

1st-ly i will suggest you dont let your experience of sales go in-vain but if you want a comparision among clinical research and pharmaceutical chemistry then i must say you that i can give you a out look of both the streams and then you decide or again write to me about your doubts ok..
so clinical research is the application of drugs and medicines in which a student has to keep records of the drug admnistered to a particular patient for quite a period of time and derive the results and submit it to the company that he is working for in this field one has to do real research and monitor even a slightest change or effect +or- both and then give the updates to the company and maintain his records
where as
the pharmaceutical chemistry works begins from here he has to detect what was the defect or the elements in the drug or medicine which caused such effects and then have to decide the right compositionn of it .
so in my openion both are equally good and challenging and can make you mad in seconds but hopefully it does not happens so fast so decide it for yourself but both are very intresting is a guareentee... so choose judiciously and do write to me about your choice.....

You can make your carrier in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in my opinion this is good for you.....amd in this very much scope in future.

hello sir clinical reserch is best for u, in 2020 it will become big means golden era for clinical research, you will try to mse clinical research.

I am also an msc chemistry,i think if you wish to join a job then you could go for clinical chemistry which is having higher paid options then pharma

pharmaceutical is not that if are interested in chemistry than it is better for you
but clinical research is better for chemistry interested person

i think you should go for clinical research.

Hi . .dear. Helping you just to take a right decision..as we know we work hard and we study a lot just to make our carrier. I mean to say just to get a good job we study a lot..today there are a no. Of pharmaceutical drug companies and they are increasing fastly..so they need a lot of candidates for their output .it is much easier to get job in a pharma company..so please go for pharmaceutical chemistry..all the best..

as per your profile you can go for pharmaceutical chemistry than research as research takes more time and not easy too

i have completed b.sc chemistry.now in which course i should do M.sc so that i can earn good salary.bcz after M.sc chemistry only 10-12000 salry per month companies are offering.so please guide me in which course i sholud do M.sc to get nice package

I m doing m pharm in pharmaceutical chemistry. But my age well become 35 on the completion of the course. So I want to know, can I go for job in industries or prefer teaching line.

I have completed my BSc with chemisrty in 2008 and also completed the DIT cource frm NIIT. Now currently i working in Embee marketing services as a MIS executive as well as Sales engineer can i back with my chemstry field But i dont want do MSC so any other cource for me pls, suggest me
