DEAR FRIEND,
For M.Sc. Exam you must have the point to point answer, dont fill the pages. For attraction you can use different colour pens for underline but dont use red colour. |

1)If you answer any question in Exam, Read the question first, then according to that write the answer
2)Always answer the question point by point 3)Try to put box for Most Important points and Highlight that point 4)First write the Answer what ever you knew, then answer the half knew answer This is the key point,if you do no any answer try to drawn the diagram according to the question what he asked and give some explanation . hai.
you asked a wonderful question. According to me, the examiner will be attracted by your handwriting, content. the content must be true. It should be elaborated and shortened as required.Keep the important formulae in boxes, use quotes, capital letters for important words, underline important figures, avoid striking. At last write a conclusion to each question |

Re: Presently doing MSc : How to write exams effectively to attract the examiner? How to score good marks in exams?
according to me just write the answer if u r confident if u know the answer . and for the last 2 to 3 lines just bluff . most of the examiner does not see the whole answer ,for the subjects which have the block diagrams just draw the block diagrams very properly and write the starting lines of the the answer which have sense and at the last 2 to 3 lines just bluff but not so much that the examiner gets bored.if u not remind the answer at the exam than just think about the answer and write it by own means in u r own language . best of luck for u r exams.

You can score good marks in exam by clear handwriting and accurate figures. It is also necessary to mention your important points in bullets.remember when you are going for bullets the points should not exceed two lines.

hi,
to score good marks there is only one way and that is hard work and thorough preparation and there is no other way around, as for as attracting the examiner is concerned then you require good hand writing, underline the important words and draw the diagrams and graphs very neatly all the best |

Re: Presently doing MSc : How to write exams effectively to attract the examiner? How to score good marks in exams?
MY view about the examination paper is writing that gives clarity to others and for this u need not be a calligrapher, and every one will be attracted for the main points / important points so, while u r writing for the exams do not concentrate on how many papers u have taken to attempt and check how much content u have written it out that give as many important points. The way u explain.
for eg: he slept. Instead of this u can write, After working for long hours, feeling tired he went early to sleep. * and time managing during exam is vital and wish u all good luck |

Re: Presently doing MSc : How to write exams effectively to attract the examiner? How to score good marks in exams?
dear,
to write in exam is as simple as spreading butter on bread. just you need to follow some basic rule of writing in exam. first of all be confident of whatever you going to write, be thorough of the contents, practice the synopsis of the questions during the preparation leaves. before attempting the QP , BE CALM, COOL AND RELAX. start with whatever you know the best. while writing do not be much descriptive , restrict the length of your answer, do not go beyond topic or watever being asked. Thatswhy practise the answer before exams at home. 5 to 6 pages are more than enough for 16 to 20 marks. sometime 4pages , but crisp and exact content is sufficient. improve handwriting and punctuation..enhance vocabulary. time management is also of extreme importance...divide time among writing answers efficiently.you will definetely score good marks....do not write which is not required. example : what do you know about cricket? 5 marks England is known as the father of cricket and first cricket playing nations were england and australia. india started playing cricket during 1800 A.D. when england was ruling india. Cricket is a team game which involves 11 active players and 1 12th man to be there for any replacement. 2 active umpires on field with one more as 3rd umppire for giving any critical and complicated decision. there are about 12 international teams and international cricket council is the main supervivor and controller of the affairs relating to the functioning of the cricket across the world. world cup is the highest competition of Cricket played at every 4 years. there are currently 3 forms of cricket; viz; 5DAY-TEST , ONE DAY 50 OVERS FORMAT AND 20 OVERS FORMAT. MANY PREMIRE LEAGUES LIKE INDIAN PREMERE LEAGUE, ENGLISH PREMERE LEAGUE, INDIAN CRICKET LEAGUE, ETC. ARE ALSO BEING PLAYED ACROSS THE WORLD. 4 and 6 are the boundry runs and rest includes running between the wickets, no ball and wide ball. this length is enough. you can also write about the length of the field, etc. can draw diagram of the field showing the status of the players, umpires, spectators if required. |

Re: Presently doing MSc : How to write exams effectively to attract the examiner? How to score good marks in exams?
Quote:
1. Be specific to the questions. Do not start from principles when the question asks you applications. On the other hand, do not miss points that pertain, although distantly, to your questions. 2. Give sub-headings in notes. The examiner only has time to read through only the outline of your answer. The sub-headings may also be some important point that has to be elaborated below it. 3. Write legibly. And cancel words by single lines strikethrough. Underline key words, using a different colour ink if possible. Use space liberally, you are paying for the pages you use. Plus, Examiners don't like cuttings and cramped answers. 4. On the content of your answers, practice essay-type answers, short notes, the Justify the statement type etc. The format and flow will only come by regular practice. On scoring good marks, you should be attentive in class because teachers also teach tricks on answer-writing. Plus, do not focus on how much you write, but on what you write. Does it penetrate the examiner's mind? Is it exactly what the examiner wants? Or is it nearly there? Can you improve your answer by coming back to it a little later in the test? (Leave space after answers if the answer is yes. When it seems that you might be restricted by time, conclude the answer. You may then put a star within it later and continue below) Best regards nishant1110 |

We could have settled on a better answer if you mentioned which subject are you doing MSc in. Still, here we go.
