Procedure for B.Ed admission in Mumbai?
Can some one please tell me the procedure for B Ed admission in mumbai for 2012-13.
I am unaware when and how to apply for the same |

The notifications about the B.Ed admission for different colleges in Mumbai will be published in official sites. Generally you are eligible for B.Ed course if you are a graduate with 50% marks. You have to attend written examination as part of getting selection for the same. You will have to prepare on subject areas namely teaching aptitude, logical reasoning, general awareness, Language skills etc. On clearing this exam with a good score, you can apply in good colleges in Mumbai for B.Ed.

Minimum Admission Requirement (O.3639)
A candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) must have passed a Bachelor's degree examination of this University or a corresponding degree examination of any other University recognised as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate at the Bachelor's degree examination and must have offered subjects relating to secondary/Higher Secondary level as per the requirements laid down by the State Government in that regard. Relaxation of the minimum percentage of marks at the Bachelor's degree examination for candidates from Reserved Categories and serving teachers will be as per State Government rules made from time to time in that respect. In addition the candidate must have subsequent to his passing the Bachelor's degree examination. Kept two terms for the full-time B.Ed. and four terms for part-time B.Ed. course seperated ovr a maximum period of two and four consecutive years respectively in a college of education. http://www.indiastudychannel.com/resourc… |
