TNPSC stands for Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. It recruits the candidates for the officer cadre and clerical cadre. For both Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3 , one has to undertake systematic preparation. The questions are from the areas of General Science, Current Events, Geography of India, History and culture of India, Indian polity, Indian Economy, Indian National Movement; History, culture, Heritage and socio-political movements in Tamil Nadu,Development Administration in Tamil Nadu and Aptitude and Mental ability. Beginners may start their preparation from going through the text books of Std VI to Std X of state board of Tamil Nadu, especially science and social studies. For current affairs they may read newspapers regularly and for rest of the subjects they have to refer the specialised books. The detailed syllabus can be downloaded from the official website of TNPSC. Referring to the previous years' question papers will enhance your level of confidence and give you a better idea.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
