My GATE-2012 score is 443,Gate marks(41.33/100),95 percentile.
10th-86.6% and 12th-65.5% ,B.tech comp.sc(upto &th sem)-8.20(cpga).

what are my chances in getting to good college for M.tech. Please give me details, i am confused from where to start.Please suggest.

hello friend GATE exam is an all India level Exam, conducted every year by the IISC/IITs to fulfill the Mtech seat , in all of the leading colleges in the India, like the INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY,INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE,NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY,and all of the local colleges in the India.



GATE exam is held every year second sunday, to make into the,

1.IISC you need to have a minimum of 99 percentile.

2.IITs you need to have a minimum of 96 percentile.

3.NITS you need to have a minimum of 85 percentile.

I got in GATE 30.67 marks, 4457 AIR, 437 GATE score, and 95.95% GATE percentile in Electrical Engineering. And in my B.Tech up to 4th year having 55% , I am OBC category. So please send me details for joning M.Tech in JNTUH or other institutes

HI FRIEND

Eligibility Criteria's for GATE are :


1. You should be a minimum graduate in B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharmacy/B.Arch from a recognized college or university to be able to sit for this exam.

2. You must not have any pending backlogs or arrears in the past semesters.

3. The final year students may also apply for this exam, but not the pre final year students.

4. There is no age or attempt limit as such for the GATE exam till now.



Now if you want to apply for the GATE, then you have to do so for the GATE 2013.

The GATE 2012 exam is already over, and so you cannot apply for this one anymore.


The GATE 2013 Notification would be released in around November
