Procedure of indian militar academy after bsc. ?....please give me the details for the same

Sir,my eyesight is -1.0.Can I join IMA?

After B.Sc, you can join Indian Military Academy by qualifying CDS or AFCAT. Graduates in any discipline can apply. Age of the candidate must be less than 24 years. They must be unmarried male candidate. AFCAT exam can be attended by both male and female candidates and separate test are conducted for both categories.

If you want to join IMA after Graduation than you have to appear in the UPSC CDS exams

Eligibilty for the CDS exams is:

Education:
Indian Airforce- Graduation Pass with Physics and Mathematics as subjects in class 12th or BE/BTECH
Indian Navy - BE/BTECH
Indian Military Academy (IMA) - Graduation Pass in any Stream
Officers Training Academy (OTA) - Graduation Pass in any Stream

AGE LIMITS-
IMA- Between 19- 24 years
OTA Between 19- 25 years
NAVY - Between 19- 22 years
AIR FORCE - Between 19- 23 years


Only MALE candidates can apply all the wings
FEMALE candidates are allowed to apply for the OTA wing only
