What is the eligibilty criteria to enter into CBI ? I have passed my graduation in geography honours with 57.31 percent from Delhi University. I am now pursuing M.A. in Mass Communication.... Please tell me all the requirements....

to get a job in CBI one should be a graduate with at lest 55% marks which you have already done so you can apply for the following entrance exam like:

CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE EXAM & IPS exam

the tests includes the followings:
GK
GENERAL ENGLISH
DESCRIPTIVE TEST
REASONING TEST
NUMERICAL ABILITY

If you are shortlisted from the test then you will be called for physical test and personal interview.
to qualify for the physical interview test you should have to ensure the followings:
1.sound health
2.no surgery in any part of your body.
3.good eyesight with standard range
4.physical fitness and flexibility.

--- A candidate Should have completed their Graduation in Any Stream with at least 55% from Recognize Universities.

--- Age Limit should Not exist 25 years for General Category. there is a relaxation is available for SC/ST category up to upper Age + 5 years.

Selection Process:

--- Written Test
--- Interview
--- Physical Fitness test

what is the eligibilty to apply for cbi job generally for office work and management??

CBI job is central government job.For cracking job in this field you should have the below necessary qualification.

This CBI recruitment is conducting through SSC exam.

---> Eligibility criteria for the CBI is

You should completed at least intermediate from recognized board in full time.
You should have minimum 50% aggregate in academics.
You should not exceed the age 30 years for this job.

Age Limit;-

To apply for this examination a candidate age should be between
20 and 27 years.

---> Selection process.

Written test,
Medical test etc.

To become an CBI officer you have to appear in the SSC conducted Combined Graduate Level exams

This Exam is conducted by SSC each year.

Educational qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Pass in any stream
No Minimum Percentage is required in Graduation

AGE-
Minimum 18 years
Maximum 27 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

Next Tier 1 Exam of the SSC Combined Graduate level will be held in May 2014 Notification and advertisement will come out in Jan 2014

Questions will be asked from the Below Sections in this Exams:
>> English Comprehension
>> General Awareness
>> Quantitative Aptitude
>> General Intelligence and Reasoning
