SBI - State Bank of India This bank like all other banks conducts the Bank PO exam and it is conducted for the post of Probationary Officer.By completing Graduation with 65% you are eligible for applying for the exam to join in as a Probationary officer. You are satisfying the needed education qualification needed as for writing the exam the needed qualification is that you need to have completed a degree from a recognized university with at least 60% aggregate. And the second thing to be noted is that you need to have known about computers and working on MS Office. The other qualification needed apart from the education qualification are the Nationality and the Age Limit standard. To tell about the Nationality standard it is that you need to be a citizen of India. The age limit needed is that you need to have 21-30 years of age for General Category candidates. For candidates of Sc/St and OBC candidates get a relaxation of age limit and they are: ~ For SC/ST candidate it is 21-35 years ~ For OBC candidate it is 21-33 years If you are satisfying them all then you are eligible for writing the exam Pattern For SBI PO Exam: For more information regarding the exam check at http://www.sbi.co.in ALL THE BEST |

Re: Required Percentage of Marks in 10+2 and Graduation to be eligible for SBI PO Exam?
There is no percentage of marks required in 10+2 for SBI, P.O.exam as the minimum academic qualification for Bank P.O. is Graduation.
There is also no requirement of any percentage of marks in Graduation in order to apply for SBI P.O. exam as only a pass in Graduation is sufficient to apply for it. Apart from this in order to apply for SBI P.O.exam, one must be an Indian Citizen within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with a good command over computer. Re: Required Percentage of Marks in 10+2 and Graduation to be eligible for SBI PO Exam?
For SBI PO exam you must have a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
There is no percentage criteria mentioned for SBI PO exam that means you need to just pass your Graduation. 10+2 marks are not of any importance because it is a Graduation level exam so don't worry about your 10+2 marks. Age Limit for SBI PO: The age required is 21 to 30 years for General Category candidates. There is age relaxation for reserved category candidates. SC/ST : 5 years relaxation OBC : 3 years relaxation PWD : 10 years relaxation Selection Procedure: -Written Exam -Interview Written exam will be objective type and there will be a descriptive section also for English writing skills. Objective questions will be related to following sections. -Data Interpretation -General Awareness with special reference to banking awareness -Reasoning Aptitude -Computer and Marketing Aptitude Descriptive paper will ask you to questions related to letter writing, paragraph writing and essay writing. This paper will be checked only when you pass the objective paper. If you clear the cut off marks in the written exam then you will be called for the interview. The merit list is based on the marks in the written and interview. |

Re: Required Percentage of Marks in 10+2 and Graduation to be eligible for SBI PO Exam?
SBI stands for State Bank of India. It is one of the largest banks in the country. SBI conducts Bank PO exam to hire candidates on the yearly basis.
Now coming to your question, as for now there is no marks criteria for SBI Bank PO. You must only have completed graduation course. Although State Bank of India may soon accept the recommendation of the government. After which there will be 60 percent marks requirement in graduation. As far as Class 10th and 12th are concerned, the marks obtained in them are irrelevant when applying for the SBI entrance exams. You simply have to worry about the marks scored in graduation and not the 10th and 12th standard. But let me point out once again that as for now, there is no marks criteria but it may soon be implemented since Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS) has also accepted the recommendations. IBPS conducts Bank PO for 20 Public Sector banks. SBI Bank PO Eligibility 1. Nationality: SBI only hires Indian citizens. 2. Qualification: You should have a valid Bachelor's degree. 3. Marks: There is no criteria for marks. 4. You should have Computer operating skills. 5. Age Limit: 21 is the lower age limit while upper age limit is 30 years. Relaxation 1. OBC - 3 years in upper age limit. 2. SC/ST - A maximum of 5 years. 3. PWD - No more than 10 years. |
