Information About NDA Examination -

NDA Examination was conducted by UPSC every year Two Times (NDA I & NDA II).

And To apply for This examination candidates Must Have completed His 12Th examination From a Recognised Board, Final year 12Th appearing candidates are also Eligible for NDA examination.

But to apply for This examination Your age should between 16.5 to 19 Years.

Candidates May apply for the Three Wings In NDA Examination.

>> Army Wings

For Army Wings and Air force Wings, You need to complete Your 12Th examination with PCM Subjects.

And For Army Wings any 12Th Passed Candidates are eligible.

For NDA (I) Examination Notification for 2012 Examination May be Declared in this year And Eligible Candidates are eligible to fill the application form Online.

NDA examination is conducted by UPSC twice a year to select students for officer post at three different fields :

ARMY
NAVY
AIR FORCE

The eligibility for the NDA exam

You must be between 16.5 years to 19 years .There is no relaxation for any type of students .
You should have passed class 12th from any streams for ARMY

For AIR FORCE and NAVY you must have passed class 12th with physics and maths as a compulsory subjects.

Exam pattern::Its a written exam and once you clear written exam then you will get call for the SSB and after that your medical will be done.

Written Exam ::The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.

Paper I of Mathematics of duration 2 Hours and maximum marks 300
PaperII of General Ability Test of duration 2 Hours and maximum marks 600

There will be penalty (Negative Marking) for Wrong Answers marked by a candidate in the objective type Question Papers.

for navy and air-force you need PCM in 12th but for Army you should just be 12th pass and there is also an age limit of 16.5 to 19 years.

for NDA, the required qualification is 10+2.
but you have to appear a test conducted by UPSC most probably twice a year.
Another option is there for Junior NDA,

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and is a form of entrance exam which is conducted by upsc for taking the entry of students in different part of military department that is Army WIngs, Navy wings and Air Force.

You can appear for this exam provided you are atleast 16 1/2 years. Also you should not be over 19 years of age. Also as part for the education qualification you should be 12th standard pass out. Candidates who are not citizens of the country cannot apply. Also females are not allowed to pursue this stream. You will screened based on the test. Clearing the physical fitness test too is important. The written will be conducted by UPSC and interview by SSC. Make sure to be well prepared if you wish to clear in first attempt.

The query has been pretty well answered by Ravik and Ravi. On clearing NDA written exam you will be called for an SSB Interview depending on the choice. Its a tough task and if you clear it on merit you are real worthy for becoming an officer in armed forces. If you require further information about SSb interview let me know.

hi, your interest is very good,for this you need to complete your +2 from recognised school.The age limit is 2nd july 1993 n't less than jan 1 (16.5 to 19 yea$) 1996 are also eligible.The height should be 157.5 to162.5 cms n't less than this .If u need to apply Army force the +2 need to complete and an exam will be held through recognised university.To apply Air force&naval ,physics&chemis should be perefect and +2 need to compl an exam will be held.The exam process is of two types mathematics 1(300 marks,2 1/2 hrs),general ability(600 marks,2 1/2 hrs).At present the notification already relased and exam on 21 st august.And new notification on 2011Oct, last date of submission Nov 2011,exam will be 2012 April. the fee will be 5o rs for Bc and Oc. 20 rs for sc/st. The NDA exam requires you to be a 12th pass only.

The age limit is from 16 to 19 years.

The written test is pretty easy. However, subsequent round like personal interview can be very tough.

The NDA also has a strict physical fitness test and are known to know allow people with high eye power.

However, if you crack NDA, you'll have a very respectable job.

the minimum qualification required for joining NDA is 10th you can join it till you are fulfilling age criteria. But if you make up your mind for defence services you should go after 10th

* You need to have the Age at the time of joining 19-25 years (final year engineering students )18-24 years (prefinal year engineering students )
* You must have an Educational Qualification of Final and pre-final year students of an engineering degree course.
* You need to speak english fluently.
* You need to pass a SSB Interview of five days conducted by them in two phases.
