I have completed B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from JRNRV(Deemed- to - be) University, Udaipur in July 2012. Ihave enquired to you that this university are recognized by AICTE, UGC & DEC in INDIA AND ABROAD. I am Engineer (Civil) in Govt. of India. Ashish Srivastava Email : [email protected]

The Rajasthan Vidaypeeth Deeemed University is located in Udaipur. It has been established by the Rajasthan State Government.

As per your query , i would like to tell you that the University has got approval from the following :

* University Grants Commission

* Distance Education Council

* Rajasthan State Government

But unfortunately , the University has not got approval from the AICTE [All India Council for Technical Education].

RVD stands for the Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University.The full name of this university is Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University.

It is a deemed university located at the Udaipur in Rajasthan.The present vice chancellor is Prof. B.S Garg.

Now coming to its approval status :

>>It got the status of deemed university in 1987.

>>It is approved by the Distance education council and the university Grants commission of India .

Let me inform you that universities do not require the approval from the All India council for Technical education .The colleges under it or the courses offered under it require the AICTE approval.

dear aspirant

rvd stands for rajasthan vidhyapith university,

its full name is janardan rai nagar rajasthan vidyapeeth university

The Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University has bee approved by the University Grants Commission(UGC),Distance Education Council(DEC) and it has been not approved by the All India Council of Technical Education(AICTE).

I have done MCA from Janardha Rai Nagar Vidyapeeth University for the years 2003 to 2007.

Now, I got seat in LLB of Andhra Pradesh college, but they are asking me to provide "Equivalance Certificate".

Please let me know what is "Equavalence Certificate" and from where can I get it.
