I am doing my 12th,
I wish to write entrance exams,
which is better? doing engineering or medical?

first of all tell whether u have done medical or non- medical
u r just making fun of 12 th
if u supports medical u have to go for doctors
and otherwise engineering

don't make any decision without knowing what you would love to do...think about it, talk to people in both fields and you would make a better decision..bets of luck!!

you should have made that decision after tenth only by opting for maths or biology,
if you are an biology student you can not do engineering and have to go for medicine and if you are an maths student then it is vice versa.
you will have doubt for selecting for subjects only if you have done mbipc in your inter,if so then go for field in which you are really interested and see that whether you are good in it or not.e.g:if you art good in biology than maths then go for medical and vice versa

i want to say that if u are persuing your 12th in pcm then you shouldnt go only for engineering and if in pcb then medical.but as you are intersted in doing engineering or medical then most importantly it depends on your subjects in 12th and your interest.
well today there is a wide scope in pharmaceutical companies u can go for them also.

Engineering is short course duration which makes you to shine like a pearl ...you can finish your course in 6years with master degree.medical is also a good one but it depends on your interest...go ahead with your interested field..bright future is waiting for you...All The Best...

Since you are already in 12th you must take note of the following for decding on your 'options':
1. Your final exam is in march to May depending on your Board so already you are running late in making the decision as for applying for most of the entrance exams the critical period has either started or going to be soon.
2. Lot depends on your stream as your stream not only makes you 'qualified or elligible' for certain ETs but also makes you 'ineligible' for some.
3. Your choice ultimately needs to be your personal choice as it would depend on:
- your aptitude
- your preparedness (as you have to prepare for 12th too which is only a frew months ahead (that is why most start their prep if not in XIth but at least when they get into 12th (as lot of related preparation requires other studies like GK and DI preparation etc. which are not part of regular XIIth course of any Board
- your capacity to afford the future course (one can have medical or engineering even with low scores in some CETs etc. if one can afford high fees inder some special categories like management quota!!)
- finally, your confidence to complete the engineering /medical with reasonably good marks (as otherwise your degrre after qualifying the programme does not have much marekt value - it is a reality and your chosen option must take it into view. Though lot depends on your commitment, devotion, hard work and intelligence level besides the institution you get into but ultimately your success will in teh chosen field will depend on where you stand in the 'competition' for the specific job (where in most cases for 'good' jobs the minimum qualifying marks to apply is often above 60% or so) and to change the option later will be too 'costly' (not only in monetary terms).

So, even if bit late do take up a SWOT (strength-weakness-opportunities and threat) analysis to take a final decision after listening to every one else. You are ultimately best decision maker about your option.

dont ask to others only choose that where you find your own interest in meadical or non-medical...if u are a non-medical student...you can not go for medical.

engg or med....depends upon the groups u belong to in 12th....
if u r a pcm student.....u can opt for engg....
and if u r a pcbm student..u can go 4 pure medical...pure dental...and emgg is also not a great prob....
and focus according to ur will nd wish.....dont get distracted....dont consult so many peoeple so they confuse u....decide acording to ur circumstances..

if You are seeking more fields and you are Creative then Welcome to Engineering,.,.,.

please ask yourself what is right for you...in which field you have more intrest..
what actually you want to be in your life..
whats your passion
both fields have great future..but remember if you select engineering as your career...select only reputed institutes...as many engineering colleges are coming with poor quality of education and provide 0% placements..

it all depends on your area of interest,i hope you are having both the biology and maths thats why you are getting confused about which route to take further.

i tell you that this is the time when you have to decide your life and career so i suggest you to go for a good counseling before chosing any stream.

both the areas ie medical and engineering are equally good and you can excell in any field if you have that passion and determination.

if you are doing 12th from biology ofcourse you have to do it. but its your own choice and interest.

I wud suggest u 2 take a proper guidance before pursuing for any of those fields . Coz u really need 2 work hard as the studies are tougher . Best of luck .

i prefer you to go for engineering because if you go for for medical you have study for 6 years and then you have to work under some doctor for getting experience and then you will be called as an doctor but if go for domineering you have study for 4 years and then after that you can do job...

depends upon your potential and stream with which you did your 12th see if you are good at bio go for medical or else you can switch to engineering also

Dear you have to tell me that in which stream you are doing your 12th.if you are doing combined studies like math ,physics ,chemistry with biology then you must go for doctrate degree. .future is safe in this field. .good luck

i think you should go for engineering than of medical as in medical you have to study for 6 1/2 years and then you have to go under some doctor for practicing and almost in totality you will be settled in 10 years. if you do engineering then you have to study for only 4 years and even after than you can go for 2 years management course, so i this you will be settled in your life within 7 years.

by the way its your life,choose the one in which you are interested.

ths is really a tough decision to make but i hope you are asking this question as you are having maths and bio both in 12th,, so i will certainly prefer on your intrests because, if at all you do any of them and later on you figured out that you feel the subject as a boring oe and you dont develop intrest in it then you will land up in no mans land even after doing either one of them and will be a strugller in this fst moving and skilled and experienced mass of professionals.. so better would be if you chooose a stream in which you have die hard intrest or liking to it onlythen you may result in doing a good and successful man and help india in progress so i hope you got my point and there is no need for me to expalain you what both these fields have scope and opportunities in future ahead of you as both of them are very potential fields in their own and have a tremendous scope 1 can even imagine that far.. all the best and i hope you make a judicious decision.. bbye take care nad think wise and make a wise decision as that will be a crucial step in shaping your future and i dont want you to regret by taking a subject just because it has beter job opportunities or just because any one else said you so.. good luck dear hope you are good and well grown enough to make a decision.. bbye

according to me medical is better than engineering because only few thousand doctors are passing out every year but lakhs of engineers are passing every year ..

take in mind that if you want to be a docter you should be ready to give at least 10 years because with a MBBS degree you wont be able to secure a good job or establish your own practice....also, sometimes you will feel that your friends who were not as good as you, are earning handsomely by pursuing some off-beat profession.also,the stress will be greater but you will always have the gratification of being in a noble profession.
well, if you are an engineer from a top school, you will be handsomely placed after your undergraduation and you can earn well just after that point of time....so, think and then trade off between these two lines

actually both has bright future,
i want to clear that for b.teck it will take 4 year,
but for medical it will take 6 year.
and also its study is costier than b.tek,
so take your own decision.

after 12 th class, i think engineering is better because there are very wide scope of engg. in india and it is very easy according to medical. choose according to your choice. good luck.

both medical and engineering has is own advantage,but medical entrance exam are more tuf to crack than engineering entrance exam.so the decision totally depend on your interest of field.

think yourself. take decision according to what your heart says.
medical line requires a lot of patience along with hard work. its a long process.
getting an engineering degree is 4 year process which gives you a nice job with handsome package (less than a doctor).

it matters less what others tell you to opt. choose a line you are interested in.

But i would suggest you to opt for the engineering because it has a lots of scope as soon as you complete your coarse.

Whereas if you choose for the medical,it does not have many more scope.

Both are good. Find out where your interest is????? Medical means you can serve society and poor people. If you are interested to do so, choose medical. Else take engineering. Expenditure is high for Medical compared to Engineering. Once you become a well expert in medical, then none can equal your salary. So decide well . All the best.

hello friend,according to my openion engineering & medical are the different line & different types of study.if you have interest in biologycal field then you go with medical.if you have interest in maths,physics,computer then you should go with engg..

Well if you are biology-maths student then it depends on your intrest.
Both the streams are good.
In engineering IIT is the toughest exam and the best one while in medical AIIMS is toughest.

after 12th most people seem to have this confusion.
I will tell you the pro s and cons of BE AND MBBS in short,after which you can decide
getting BE in a good company and a good feild will help you to settle fast in life
doing BE in computers,electricals,info sc ,mechanical are the current favorites,
if your score is more than 65% through out,then most of the top companies will recruit you..or you can do masters or MBA if you wanna pursue studies.
MBBS ,I consider is a noble profession .however the course is very demanding and you need to be dedicated .but just doing MBBS is not at all sufficient today..you have to do masters in your choice of field and you will settle slowly...but both service wise and earning,its on top.

write entrance exams after your 12th,counsel with people and decide what you actually wanna be ..
