Which Science subject combination is needed in Intermediate to study B.Sc Forensic Science?


Sir, I have completed my 12th Board exams from Science stream with MPC subject combination. Am I eligible to get admission in B.Sc Forensic Science degree course in any regular colleges? Is there any entrance for B.Sc Forensic Science?

The eligibility criteria for B.Sc Forensic Sciences is as below:

>>Candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics from a recognized board.

>>Minimum of 50% marks in 12th is required to apply for B.Sc in Forensic Science course.

You can take either of subject stream PCM or PCB from a recognized board of India.

Some top colleges also conduct entrance examination for admission in this course.

For BSc foresic science you should have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and/or Maths as main subjects in 10+2.

You should score a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in 10+2.

To study BSc Forensic Science you must have Physics Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology as main subjects in your intermediate. Your minimum aggregate score should be 55%.

Yes, you are eligible to get admission in the course in a recognised institutions.

The common eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed 12th in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as main paper.

Admission procedure varies with institutions.

Eligibility to join BSc Forensic Science:-

Candidates who have passed their 12th with physics, chemistry, biology or mathematics are eligible to join.

Minimum percentage that is required to join this course is 50 and relaxation is given to reserve students of 5%.

Admission process for B.Sc forensic science course differs from institute to institute.

Top entrance exam:-

CG PAT

IISER IAT

OUAT

GSAT

BHU UET

NEST.

Admission in B.Sc forensic science course is offered generally on the basis of entrances, but few colleges also have the facility of merit-based admission. Top Entrance Exams: JET, Amity JEE, LPUNEST, and other University or State level Entrance Exam
So monitor which entrance exam or which university you wanna seat based on that prepare for that,

In B.Sc Forensic Science, the following subjects are good combinations.

Applied Mathematics: Pure Mathematics and/or Physics.
Biochemistry: Chemistry, Microbiology, Botany, Computer Science or Zoology.
Botany: Chemistry, Microbiology or Zoology.
Chemistry: Biochemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Zoology.
Computer Science: many other sciences, but especially GIS.
