Sir will there be negative marking in NEET 2016. . . I am expecting around 420 marks in AIPMT that is NEET 2016.. SIR will I be enrolled for counselling. .

Yes, there will be negative marking in NEET II. NEET I is All India Pre Medical Test. From next year, there will only one NEET exam. NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It is national level exam for admission in MBBS and BDS course in any medical college of India. From this year, there will be no state level Pre Medical Test.

If you are from general category then 420 marks will not fetch you anything, you will not even clear cut off marks but if you are from OBC then there is some chance and if you belong to SC/ST category then, you will definitely get a medical seat for MBBS or BDS course.

Yes there are negative markings for NEET exam. 420 will not do anything for you as the total score is 720 and its a national level exam.

Marking Scheme:

For correct answer: 4 marks are given
For incorrect answer: 1 mark is deducted
