sir,
i need ur help.i am not able to decide which course i should opt for my career.i like biology and maths both.but i was more inclined to take biology in 12th but i took maths.its not that i am not satisfied with my decision but when i came across uptu form,i saw option for applying courses in b.tech(biotec only).as a result my heart is once again inclined to take bio.i am confused,please help me and provide me such soln which will not make me feel guilty in future.please tell me which course should i opt for.

Yes you can apply for the biotechnology course.
the eligibility for this exam is pass the intermediate with maths or biology or both.
so you are interested in doing b.tech with bio technolg then submit your application form to the different universities.

If u r intrested in bio go for it u can apply for that

as you choose mathematics in 12th then i think you are more strong in mathematics as comparable to the Biology. that is why you choose mathematics.

in that case i will suggest you to go with mathematics in your career. if you like engineering then you should choose that line. there you will find a lot of application of mathematics. but for engineering you must be strong in physics also. otherwise you will face difficulty.


but if you think now you want to do B.Tech Biotechnology then as you don't have biology in 12th so you will face problem. if you can overcome this problem and if you are suitable with biotechnology then go for B.tech in Biotechnology. the scope after biotechnology very good. specially the research field for Biotechnology is very much glorious.


in this situation you have to choose own according to your performance and interest. but whatever you will choose you should not feel guilty for that. whatever you will choose try to concentrate on that subject. if you study well in any subject you will go so far. so don't worry both career option are good. just you ahve to good in that course.

You Can Do B.tech Biotechnology, if You have interest in Biology but Studied Maths in 12th Standard. Because To Do This Course You Have To Passed In Your 12th Exams With Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Yes,definitely you can go through the B.tech(Bio technology) course.Since B.tech course is only opened for the candidates for M.P.C(Maths,Physics,Chemistry) background in 12th hence you can definitely go through exams like IIT/AIEEE and other such competitive exams and seek a seat in Bio Technology course.

There is good scope for the Bio technology course students.You need to go through the basics again and hence it will not be a big problem for you if you join in the B.tech stream.So,better go through competitive exams and choose the stream according to your interest.

You will not face a big problem by choosing Bio-technology stream since its only opened for the M.P.C students.

Yes, you can opt for B.Tech in Biotechnology as you have completed your 10+2 with Mathematics stream.

As you are showing much interest towards B.Tech biotechnology, choose the same because choosing a subject which you have more interest will encourage you to get through the course in successful manner.

But only interest is not sufficient. Along with that interest, you should be able to put hard efforts towards your course of B.Tech biotechnology.

Initially it will take a little bit time for you to adopt to the terminology and to the aspects of Biotechnology as you have come from Maths background.

So, I would suggest you be serious towards the course from the beginning itself.

Just relax. I think your interest is inclined towards biology. still you love biology more than maths i think. so if i am in your state i will surely go towards bio tech only. i advise you also to do the same.

But i suggest you go for other...
because you have Maths in 12th class..
if you choose B.Tech (Biotechnology) then you face many problems because you have not enough knowledge about it...
