i am a student of class 11 .my aim is to crack CPMT . Should i take pcmb for 11&12 ?

Dear Friend

If your ultimate goal is to get in medical field then it will be completely useless
to waste your time in Mathematics.

So, you should take only Physics Chemistry and Biology only.

As the no. of seats in medical colleges are very less in comparision to the no. of
aspirants so it requires a lot of hard work to crack some medical entrance exam.

So, you need to be very sincere and also to the point for your preparation.
Mathematics is itself a huge domain which will consume much of your time.

So, go for PCB only.

see friend for medical entrance xam, t5he paper is minly consisted of questions from physics,chemistry and biology whereas for engg. entrance xam the paper consists of physics,chemistry and maths. so if ur ultimate aim is to clear cpmt then maths is not required otherwise maths as a subject in +2 is needed if u give engg. entrance also

my friend, as you want to go for CPMT, so it is necessary to take science(Biology) in your +1 and +2..
The eligibility criteria for CPMT -

One must complete the 11th and 12th with physics , chemistry, biology ...
The age of the candidate must be more than 17years..

These are the criteria you have to fulfill..
So, if you really want to go for medical field then you have to take physics, chemistry , biology in 11th and 12th.. Maths is not necessary, but if you have interest in it then you can take it as a additional subject..

so, all the best..

At first choose in which field you have more intarest either Medical or Engineering.

if you want to go in Medical field then you should take only Physics Chemistry and Biology only.


on otherhand if you want to go in Engineering field then you should take only Physics Chemistry and mathamatics only.

But there are a vast chapter in mathamatic. and anotherside the no. of seats in Medical colleges are very less in comparision to the no.

Dear friend for medical PCMB is not required ..........

Only PCB is required for any medical exam,If you want to give ENGG. EXAM also .......

Then you can choose both BIOLOGY AND MATHEMATICS...........

But you only want to give medical exam that's why you can take only PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY,MATHEMATICS..........

These three subjects enough to give the medical entrance examination...........

you can give through this subject any medical exam..........

dear friend,
since you want give the exam of CPMT, there will be no use of mathematics in that.
you will be eligible to give the exam even if you are not having math in 11th or 12th class. it will be a waste of time if you take maths.
you should take physics, chemistry and biology in 11th and 12th class as your main subjects. that will be sufficient for you.

this exam.
CPMT is basically if you strong in Biology then you easily clear this.

Other wise its better to take PCB.... only it will reduce your burden.........

hi...the first thing you should know is that the mediacl entrance examinations are really tough and due to very less number of seats availaable in our country the competetion is huge and to get into one you should be an really an extremly hard working student and also you should work by almost forgetting every thing else in your life,if you have that kind of zeal then you should take only biology ,if you doubt yourself in that point of view then i think you should really take mbpc in your engineering because even though the maths subject is huge but it provides many career opprotunities which biology does not.
so even if you are not able to crack medical you can try atleast engineering which is compartively easy to get an seat becuase pf huge number of colleges and also there are many other options which will remain open for you because of the maths subject,so my advice is if you want to have options open then its better to take both maths and biology

PCMB is not necessary for CPMT.if have only one goal as CPMT then PCB is best for you.

For CPMT Physics,Chemistry and Biology subject are necessary and Mats is not required.if you are not certain about your field then you can take PCBM in 11th.

PCBM will be a waste.combination of these four subjects is not required in any exam.you have to choose any field and take subject according to that field.

For Medical field PCB is best choice and these are required subjects.you have to score good marks in 12th for best college.

now govt has declared neet for 2013.i m 11 std student .i have taken pcmb group.i want to go in medical field bt i m nt sure dat i will do good or nt.what should i do?shouid i drop maths or nt?plz suggest me.

i am in 10th and had secured 94% . now i am confused that should i take pcbm or only pcb? will my overall %age will fell down on taking pcmb?

for CPMT only eligibility is PCB so if you only want to get your self in Medical field then don't waste your time in mathematics, and only concentrate on PCB.

to crack CBSE - PMT the subjects you require are

1. physics
2. chemistry
3. biology

having MATHS as an additional subject it wuold put extra pressure on you and the maths required in this exam is only some calculations and that too in physics & chemistry which are easy

so, donot waste your time

focus only on CBSE-PMT

actually i hv been told dat in AIPMT , its tough to do physics without some important chapters of maths which are in 11th and 12th . like diffrentiation and integration ,etc .......
but if i take maths in 11th , things wll get complicated? i m confused . wat to do?

I have interest in both engineering as well as bio but my family members discourage me by saying that PMT is very difficult , what will be the disadvantages of PCMB in 11 will it be that difficult that i can't get good rank in either subject

If you are want to clear competitive exams then take pcmb and focus on physics. Else take PCB directly for good %.

If any one got 49 marks in physics 60 in chemictry and 70 in bio then he is eligible for cpmt or not
